Campus Blotter: Hawaii Student Tim Perry Shoots Porn in Classrooms

Tim Perry, a 22-year-old gay student at the University of Hawaii-Manoa, has become known in internet circles (extremely kinky internet circles, mind you) as the "Speedo Student."
The handle stems from a blog devoted to Speedos that Perry launched in December. But it's how Perry handles his stem that's caused the uproar. Some scenes depict harmless shots of a smiling, Speedoed Perry in one of a handful of classrooms, while others show him ejaculating on desks.

The videos started an outcry at the campus newspaper, which implored all students to disinfect desks and wash hands frequently, lest they be victimized by the "deviant," "psychotic" poof in their midst.
On his blog, the self-avowed anarchist says he's just trying to make some simple porn that celebrates his beloved Speedos; he rejects any notion that he's trying to make gay rights statements or that he's doing anything wrong.
Somewhat incredibly, the university seems to agree. Perry has been placed on academic probation, but school officials never investigated his artistry as a crime. The school paper later apologized for its remarks in a very lawyerly retraction.
Perry, meanwhile, is on schedule to earn his history degree, which he plans to put to use with a career in gay porn.
