Caught on Tape: Nanny Brutally Abuses 11-Month-Old Baby

• The nanny is a sick and twisted individual that deserves to be locked away forever. I could only imagine the humiliation and frustation the parents of the 11 month old must be going through. The actions of the nanny can't be justified in any kind of way. She was wrong !!!

• If that was my baby that bitch would have felt my wrath before the tape even made it to police. I don't know if I could have stopped myself from killing her after I tortured her. • I hope with all of my heart she gets the shit beat out of her every day in prison. And chances are she will. I have known my share of peole that have gone to prison and even most guards stand by and let the other inmates go at people there for child abuse. It makes me feel a lot better. I can't imagine how that familt feels. I guess it is good the baby won't remember that.

I found this clip as I search for angry 11 month old baby (my baby is 11 month and has such a little temper) and trying to get the best advice for it.... anyway this came up, and I want to cry, that baby was doing nothing to make her angry surely!!!!! Even if he was!!!! WTF!! I would kick the shit out of this woman if I could over and over!!!

• OK..first and foremost..i feel very sad for that baby...and the family. I was reading the posts and took notice that nobody marked the time it was happening. The parents worked an full day and that was only 10 am when it went down. What is wrong with people. What kind of person takes out their anger on an 11 month old child. And i agree with most of you when you say that nanny-cams are great...but the truth is that it's happening everywhere you look. Some people NEVER get caught...and others are still doing it...even parents. Think about the last time you were mad...and frustrated that you just yelled at your child..or you "spanked" them. That is a form of child abuse itself. Thats why i feel VERY strongly about "spanking" in my home. I just don't do it...period. My heart goes out to the family and that baby..hopefully they take care of themselves and try to get over this nightmare.

We should be reading a stroy about how the father murdered this cunt with his own two hands. Touch my kids and I will eliminate you, period.

• If ANY adult were to lay a hand on my child, they forfeit their life, period. I was very lucky, my child was watched by my father (who retired early due to health reasons, but was healthy enough to be bored and 'ASKED' for the diversion) and they now have a very strong bond. Dad calls my son his 'side-kick". Mom just retired and my brother's new daughter is now being watched by her. I don't believe in 'day care', 'nannies' or outsides watching kids just because of cases like this. I'd rather live with 'less', than have an abused, emotionally wrecked, perhaps, murdered child. Yes, I understand it sometimes takes two incomes. Work it out, schedule one parent to work days, one to work nights. Cut back and have one parent stay at home. These choices only last for a few years. Do anything you have to do, but don't leave your babies in the hands of strangers. This sort of thing happens more often than we like to believe it does...

• this is disgusting! This nanny would be running to the cops begging them to protect her from me. I would beat the crap out of her. the same way she hit my kid in the video. My son was 2-3 yrs old and at first my daycare lady seemed good. Both my wife and myself interview her and my son seemed to like her the most. She took care of him for more than a year and a half. We had a second child, and he started going there too. After a while, her husbands health declined and her teenage son, was allowed stay home from school! I took noticed that my older son, started saying things like I don't want to go to her house. BC he was small a few bumps and bruises started to appear. My wife noticed that my baby would cry more than normal when she would drop him off there. My son is now 4 years. And with all of his bumps, I have never noticed that he bruises easily. I have pictures to show that he had bruises across his thighs. She explained to us he must have bumped into something. And then the night that broke the straw, My son told us that the DC son hit him. I was furious! Neither of my kids every went there again. Who knows what went on there! I'm getting very angry while i type this because we should have pulled him months before. Actually in the morning, when my son wakes up. I'm going to ask him if he remembers how that bruise happened. The worst thing about all of this, is at least the op, had video proof of the abuse. These horrible people get away with this abuse because they know a small child can't tell their parents what's going on.

• That is absolutely terrible. If I ever *caught* someone doing that to my child on video like that - I'd certainly be kicking the living shit out of someone and THEN calling the police. I would have no problems spending a few nights in jail giving some well deserved "street" justice so someone like that.

• I couldn't even watch the whole thing, the first 'hit' made me go cold. I just want to go home and pick up my baby and hold him. Of course this stuff always sickens me, but now that I am a mom, it hurts so much more to see it. My nan descriped parenthood as "a wound that never heals" and now I see what she meant; I am so vulnerable to the pain of children now. No doubt about it; I'd kill the bitch. Slowly.

Anyway I know that is irrelevant but I just wanted to explain a typo that I make often in my posts and I get so exited I never reread. In my earlier post I know it should have said *or :)

• I was a nanny for 10 years and never once did I lay an angry hand on a child. It was bad enough that I was working in Boston during the Louise Woodward debacle. Women like this one give nannies a bad name. I'm hoping that she gets serious jail time...she deserves it.

• Well, its probably because there are no other jobs out there. Who would be emptying bedpans if they could get a better job? Who would be dealing with screaming brats and wet diapers all day long in a day care center if they could get a decent job? If wives really want child care that is decent they should take advantage of the tax code provisions to hire a friend to cook, clean and take care of the kids while they go to the friends home to perform similar services.

• yeah, that was tuff to figure out that the headline should have said 11 month old, especially when you watched the video... it was either an infant or a really short 11 year old. ::rolls eyes:: why do people take these jobs when it's obvious they don't like what they're doing. abuses in animal shelters, day cares, and now in the privacy of your own home. no complaints in all the time she's been doing this? I guess all of her victims are under the age of being able to speak.
