Creep Breaks into Kentucky Animal Shelter, Lets Dog Kill Cats

• Sounds like a scorned employee....seeing that they knew where everything was (cashbox,cat-aggressive dog) and they seemed to do more than just 'rob' the place. I think it's an employee and the robbery was just to fool cops..JMO

• Author Pete, If you are going to summarize an article on a crime blog, then you should have included the source and at least reiterated how the dog was not just 'like normal dogs' but a dog that is (obviously) aggressive towards cats. Most domesticated dogs don't care about cats being in their presence. Any person who wanted to read a crime report on animal cruelty wouldn't care about how the shelter burned down to the ground years ago in a completely unrelated case, but more about the two cats that were killed in this viscious attack. Also, since this is truecrimereport.com is not your personal blog, you shouldn't be putting your opinion out there that is insensitive towards the issue. Les's comment is more like an actual report than yours.

• That is just nuts- why would you break into an animal shelter to torture an animal? My dogs don't like cats or anything furry actually- they haven't killed a cat but I have saved a few cats from certain demise when they made the mistake of coming in the yard.

• You know what, I watched 'The Lovely Bones' last night *SPOILER ALERT* and what happens to the sick fk in the end is the greatest joy I experienced for the week. I believe God will punish these bad fkers in a very amusing way. Our God has a sense of humor and I wouldn't be surprised if one day, we read the news where 'Man breaks into home (or animal shelter or someother place), gets mauled by family pet (or shelter dogs, etc.)' haha I know it will happen. Society doesn't have to catch them, God already knows.

• Ahhhhh Pete thank u for putting this story on here, a) I work at a no kill animal shelter, b)we dont have security cameras, hence we deal with people stealing our aluminum can trailer donations and other things we are strictly funded by the public and we are slowly upgrading (we now have a fire system and sprinklers coming.) If I were to come into work and see this I just could'nt imagine. Hope they find whoever these assholes are and screw them with every charge they can come up with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• Pete, seriously, "the dog did what dogs do, killing the cats." Not all dogs kill cats. I personally own 2 dogs & 2 cats. They all roam the house together and the dogs have NEVER hurt the cats. I also work at an animal hospital, and have seen thousands of dogs who never even look twice at the clinic cats we have that roam the building. This is a gross misstatement. I have enjoyed reading many of your stories, and have never been upset by any until this one. Shame on you Pete, shame on you!!!
