Either Michael Murphy is incredibly handsome, has a tongue of golden butter, or there's a desperate shortage of decent men in Montana. But any way you dice it, he seems to have the Midas touch with women -- especially prison guards...
Since 2003 Murphy -- who's in the slam for theft and forgery -- has managed to seduce no less than five female corrections workers in Montana. His modus operandi, according to the Associated Press: He starts by asking for a small favor. Then he moves to stolen kisses and poetic letters of love. These are followed by bare naked delight, which leads to even more favors.
Murphy (sorry, we couldn't find a photo of the guy) even managed to seduce a prison shrink. It seems our man behind bars is irresistible to the ladies -- even when they know they're being scammed.

Take the shrink. She told investigators that she knew Murphy was manipulating her. But she allowed him to kiss her once in her office. Once she tasted his sweet lips, her carnal passions were unleashed.
Murphy was caught twice in 2003 with seducing guards into sex, but received no punished -- though the women were fired. Five years later, he was caught again seducing three new women. The prison workers claim he's a predator. Murphy naturally asserts he's a victim of sexual assault.
He's never been punished for his liaisons, nor have the women been charged criminally, since it's hard to convict anyone on the word of a con.
But one thing we do know for sure: If you're single, employed and male, we advise you to move to Montana forthwith. There appears to be throngs of women waiting with searing desire and very low standards.
UPDATE: Alert reader Sarah appears to have found Michael Murphy's entry on Montana's correctional site. At least it appears to be him, judging by his arrest record.

So we ask you, dear female readers: Does this man make your heart quiver? Like in a way that would force you to lose all reason and risk your job?
Or does he look like that guy who stalks underage girls outside the cell phone store, inviting them over to his mom's house to play World of Warcraft?

Now if he looked like Gerald Butler or Johnny Depp, that would be a strong maybe! But as for this guy, no! Wth?!?! Are there no other men in Montana? Like one that isn't a convict at your workplace?!?! What idiots! This just kind of gives a bad name to us fellow women! But, like men, there are smarter ones. I want to know how he did this with so many women! Were they that desperate?! This is funny and sad at the same time!

If this were a womens prison, people would be all over the abuse of power that was happening at the prison. It is not his fault these women can't keep their panties on straight.

I don't know how he did it. He must know what women want to hear, and said those things that make our knees week and our panties fall off. Then there is that tongue thing you mentioned...who knows!

Personally, I dont believe he should be punished for sleeping with those women. I say Montana needs to find stronger women, because it isnt that hard to say no and resist love letters. And the shrink even knew of his behavior before hand, so can they really punish the guy? As a female, I know how easy it is to close your legs and it isnt like he raped these women, nor are they underage so can we really punish a man because the prison gaurds he seduced werent doing their job?

Even if some dude was a Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp look alike, I would get away from it when you know the dude is doing JAIL TIME at the spot where you work.

That said, have most women not experienced a moment when a "bad boy" gave us a little warm fuzzy feelin' that maybe made ya wonder? Besides that, these women spent probably 12 hours a day with this guy, who, Hello!, is a con man! I would hope I wouldn't be that naive if in those womens shoes, but given the right moment, the right words and the right look in his eye, who knows? Con artists know how to pick a moment, say what you want to hear and do it with a smile in their eye. And it's not like he looks like Grandpa wanderin round Wally World punchin innocent kids on the head>

Yes he should be. There are a lot of restrictions put on prison inmates, they are not allowed to do a lot of things people on the outside can legally do but there are very good reasons for that.
A guard/inmate relationship like this puts others at risk. He could have been seducing these women as part of an escape plot or to convince them to help him commit all sorts of crimes against other inmates or guards.
I'm pretty sure you'd feel differently about this if he'd slept with a guard, stole her keys and then killed someone he would have not had otherwise been able to get to, for example.

I see you are hoping to start a fight, perhaps? Yeah, some women can be pretty stupid but as this site shows us over and over again - the title for most stupid is help equally by both males and females.
The mug shot of this guy reminds me of a picture that I saw once of a woman who was pretending to be a man. He is not my cup of tea. I'm just not seeing it?
