Josh Powell Visited Strip Joint After Murdering His Wife, Say Witnesses

• If no one has said this before, Joshua Powell killed his wife during a heated argument and now is simply attempting to cover his tracks. You are guilty and the time draws near for justice. You remind me of Scott Peterson in many ways.

• Yeah the Arsee prob had a 'Story' to tell and was all amped up and them thought about it and decided to 'wait just incase the 'Story' doesn't fall threw and ends up biting him in the arseeeeee..

• it remind me of Laci Peterson story...her husband show NO interest to find her...im GLAD that Scott r in prison...

• Another thing that bothers me about the website is it doesn't say for Susan to "please come back", or "we miss you", or "the boys need their mommy", or that the boys miss something they used to do together, or anything like that. The site just gives me the feel he knows she isn't going to be returning. I agree with another person's post, that the website does appear to be all about Josh.

• I find it kind of strange at his website for his wife at http://www.susanpowell.org/ because it doesn't have but a few pictures and there isn't any Missing Person's poster with her details to print for the public to help find her.

• Jadensmokes...thanks for the link to his dads website.I read somewhere that Susan didn't like Josh' dad,well...I can see why!! The arrogance of him I personally felt was very strong and even if this whole story of Susan missing had never happened and if someone had told me about Josh's dads website b/c he has songs about Seattle for example...I would definitely still (my little opinion) feel that arrogancy from his site. His pictures just show the man is full of himself. Yuck, I actually felt like I could puke while viewing his site. I didn't know the site supposedly made for Susan had changed and Josh took out the things about himself, that's where I'm heading to right now to see the changes. *irk* I just want this case solved!!!

• What about the wild animals? It's not pleasant to think about, but with the freezing weather they would do what they do to survive. Also, mines... There are these factors and also the fact the searching could very well be in the wrong areas. I think arrest would have to be made upon solid evidence without a body found. In the hopes she is still alive, it would be absolutely amazing! There could be a slight chance she was taken and he knows about it. I would love to hear about this having closure for her family, friends and all concerned caring kind people who've never personally met her yet seem to worry about her much more than her husband.

• some one should beat the shit out of him, even if the dumb ass is innocent he just needs to get a good old beat down. he knows what happened or he would still be looking for her not moving out of the state. i feel for those little boys that he lies to on a daily basis.. stupid loser needs to get arrested and have a meeting with old sparky!

• I've noticed that the Powells have been reading comments to stories about Susan on the net. They make adjustments once someone says something, such as the site for Susan. It was so obvious that the site was supposed to be for Susan, but it was all about Josh when it was first launched. Josh is supposed to be "net-savvy" as in these sites where he secured the domains and has built the pages. None of the pages have anything remotely difficult to them and could have easily been put together. The rental car that he got while the van was being combed by LE did not have any kind of tracking or gps equipment on board. So, there is no way of telling where he went. The bugs are a cool idea (CSI?), but unless they got those details in the beginning, they are long gone now. The cell phone should be traceable, but we're talking about some pretty remote areas in Utah, and I don't know that they could pin-point a location because of sparse cell coverage. No one can search in Utah right now, they have been inundated with snow all season. It can freeze up there at night until the first of July. The best we can hope for is an early thaw so searching can begin. Hopefully they can find her quickly, and with the cold and snow, maybe the evidence with the body will still be intact.

• Why don't they take the car and look at the front bumper...Bugs hit the bumper and they can see if he left the state based on the bugs they find..certain ones live in different areas. Also, the site has changed, theres nothing on there about him. its all susan, so someone appears to have updated it.

• Do cell phones give continuous or intermittent signals? Look at the location info from cell towers and look at the road map. Maybe police have dome this but need many volunteers to scour land around the likely route & alts. A rental car could give exact route if the rental company wanted to in the future. Using some one else stuff does not give a right to privacy. I think he wanted more sex, so she died. Another disposable person.

• I remember a friend showing me a pretty extensive piece on this case in People magazine. Josh's site is the creepiest I've been to in a while.

• It just sucks when guys like Josh Powell are so obviously guilty and so blantantly walking around and quite literally "getting away with it"

• The police have checked into this story already and seemed to have discounted it. Maybe it was a ploy to get him to give a more detailed account of his whereabouts that could be checked out.

• http://stevechantrey.com/Pages/About/MeetSteve.aspx This is Josh's Dad's site. He is a "musician" {term used loosely}. Sorry, I thought when I read this it was Josh telling about his childhood, but actually it's Josh's dad telling about his childhood. Anyway, it seems to be a family tradition.

• I read from one of the articles online that it was Josh' father (Steven) who was kidnapped. His grandparents took him and he was told his mother was dead. This whole story is the most bizarre case. He shouldn't be in WA state, he should have to stay in Utah because he is the one and only person of interest. I don't know whether to believe the strip club because their story would make it so Josh would have shown up at his house a half hour after the strip club..maybe they have it wrong on the time he was at the club.People are wondering where the little Powell boys were while Josh was in the club,well, where were the little boys when Josh took off "who knows where" with that rental car? Has anyone read or heard if the boys were with Josh in the rental car? The website is totally about Josh and how wonderful he is.This is such an odd story to follow and sadly I doubt Susan will ever be found.

• this is in our local news often here in Washington State-he is getting away with murder. The locals don't want him here.

• The site he created for Susan couldn't be more focused on Josh if he tried! The pics of Susan are terrible, yet all of Josh's photos have him smiling. He lies about the chair and the room he was going to build for her hair salon. The chair was given to them by his sister and b-i-l. That was over 5 years ago. I wish LE would quickly bring this guy in and arrest him for her murder. The sooner they can get him away from those boys, the better off the boys will be. When Josh was a kid, his father kidnapped him and told him his mother was dead. This is how Josh was raised. Now, he seems to be bringing his kids up in the same way...reliving it somehow.

• Don't know if that dumb ass really went to a strip club or not. BUT i do know his web site sounds like a bunch of BS. Yah if HE is what is known as a loving husband and father than I dont want one. Hope he soon enouph stops escaping Justice that is coming to him.
