Fugitive Watch: Former Playboy Playmate Nabbed After 6 Months On The Lam

​Here at Fugitive Watch, we're not accustomed to being graced by such hotties as Tanya Beyer, the 1992 Playboy centerfold who was recently arrested for trafficking in Oxycodone. Alas, we learn that even the beautiful people can find themselves on the lam...

1992 was a good year for Tanya Beyer. The former homecoming queen and model was tapped at the ripe age of 20 to be the centerfold for Playboy's February issue. Her spread was so popular that the magazine continued to use her in special editions and numerous video releases.

Unfortunately, soft porn doesn't guarantee one a life of comfort and well-being. Look at Tawny Kitaen. 

Fast forward to 2010. After a decade of obscurity (her last "notable" work was in the 1998 Playboy video Iron & Lace I), Beyer has found herself in the spotlight once again -- but for a whole different set of assets.

Last August, the 38-year-old was named in an affidavit by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office as a person of interest. The document alleged that Beyer had been doctor shopping in an effort to obtain Oxycodone, which she was both using and selling. 

By October, the Sheriff's Office had deemed her a fugitive and asked for the public's help in bringing her to justice. 

Still, Beyer was nowhere to be found until late last month, when she finally decided to turn herself in after six months on the run. 

Beyer is now being held at the Palm Beach jail on a $100,000 bond.
