• Oh Jessica, there are so many things I would want to say but you know them already. You see it in the way people look at you at and how you look at yourself in the mirror. If this is the real Jessica, stay sober, and do something with life so that baby didn't die in vain. SIDS is one thing, but if you're smoking meth before that you know and I know that baby wasn't safe.

• Aw, shucks, she's in a PROGRAM! I guess it's okay to roll over on your baby and kill it as long as you're in a PROGRAM! Oh, and I searched for any new news releases saying that the coroner ruled this as a case of SIDS and have found none. So... yeah. Baby-killer.

• THIS IS JESSICA AND I WAS READING SOME THINGS U AND SUM OTHER PEOPLE WROTE ABOUT ME. YES I AM A DRUG ADDICT BUT I DIDNT KILL ME SON. THE CORNNOR REPORT CAME BACK AS SIDS. • Excuse me, but none of you people even know this girl. I happen to know her personally and yes what happened was a tragedy. You have no right to judge and say these things about someone you don't even know. Do you ever think about how she is feeling, how it has affected her life. So why don't you mind your own fucking business.

• No, this could not just happen to anyone, those with common sense and good parenting skills wouldn't even be doing meth to begin with. Good parents think about their children and put them first, but instead, this meth head only worries about getting high instead of worrying about her child. Go figure, a meth head sticking up for another meth head.

• You fucken people don't even know her personally so how can you say anything about her or what happened. I know her personally and am an ex-meth user myself as well as an alcoholic, I know that during my addiction I did plenty of things that I am not proud of that could have gotten me life in prison. This could have happened to anyone not just someone who was high on meth, so before you judge someone and talk shit know your facts.

• Now she'll see the ultimate price of drugs. This could have been prevented for both of them. Just plain sad, all around.

• What bothers me most about this case, is the fact that her friends offered to take care of the child but she declined. If that were me, and I knew that child was being taken care of by a meth head who has been on a binge, I'd have called the police on her. How dare they sit back and let this woman tend to her child while in the condition she was in.

• No shannie, thank you! I too was scared to share my life stories when I first starting coming here back in October. But I soon thought maybe I could help someone. It is very difficult to share ones life with people close, but to complete strangers? I'm not ashamed of my life. Most of what I have been through isn't my fault, so why should I be ashamed? And moet, I am very sorry for making you uncomfortable! It was never my intention! And the offer of emailing still applies! Me and bhoebe have traded a few so far and she is pretty awesome!

• Marie, Bheobe, Moet and Jaden, thanks a bunch. You ladies made me feel good to hear your stories and give feedback to a problem that seems to and can affect almost every family of every walk of life. I can see reading all that and getting uncomfortable Moet, I am sorry if it did. I don't speak about this to anyone outside of my tight inner circle because of my career, and I am ashamed. But for some reason I put it out there and it felt good to do it. Thanks you guys!

• It wasn't mentioned here, but this pig had a 3 and 5 year old taken from her because she used meth while pregnant with them. This poor child died because nobody was looking out for his best interests. CPS should have taken this child as soon as it popped out, and placed it up for adoption or something. If dogs and cats are spayed and neutered, so should human wastes' of space and resources.

• haroon, you said it right! Heroin users are just pathetic, but meth heads just stop being human somewhere along the way.

• So let me get this straight...she made plans to stop breastfeeding but didn't make plans on who was watching the baby....I was a young momma who was pregnant at 17 and let me tell you I made some stupid mistakes but I always made sure my daughter was safe. Now she is a beautiful 18 yr old herself.....wow time flies...

• Jaden, Yes, some of us young people don't like to listen to you old foogies (is that how its spelled?!)!!! Jk! I think that's part of the problem! Young kids just don't want to listen, to anyone! I see all these stories about people my age or younger, and it hurts because I know that I could have went down that same path. But, growing up the way I did helped and listening to older people also helped. My mom and *step* dad aren't much older than me (about 18 years) so I kind of grew up with them, but their experiences helped me a lot! Sorry about the pissing your pants! Bhoebe makes me choke all the time she is so funny! Crackin me up, Well thank you! I like to think I can be funny at times! And, I admire you for what you did. Yes, I'm sure it was tough, but in the end, you probably did save your neices. I would do the same in a heart beat. I wouldn't hesitate when it comes to something like that. And, in time, I'm sure your brother will forgive you, if he hasn't already. And I am so glad they got the help they needed, even if it meant prison time. I wished it had helped my biological father, but looks like it hasn't. I think I only tried pot the few times I did to see what it was like for both my dads. What was so great about these things that it takes them away from their family? And I found it was........not that great! I have never done anything else and hopefully I never will!

• First off I want to say i'm only typing this cause Marie Heck is crackin me up. U2funny:) It's sad what drugs can do. I turned in my brother to family services because he and his wife were on meth. While on meth their 5yr old daughter got into chocolate covered shrooms and instead of the hospital he went to the store and bought something to make her throw up. I lived out of town and when my mother told me I turned him in...Yeah the family wasn't happy with me but whatever right.....My husband and I have 5 kids and we took their 3 kids so they could get help(well mom got help and my brother got jail for about 7 yrs). Now that he is out and clean he is a great dad!!! I think he's hurt that I turned him in but he knows I probably saved his daughters life....Growing up I was to scared to try drugs because I saw what it did to him. Anyway, who's blabbering now.... I will always stay strong and try to do the right thing...I hope my kids follow in my footsteps (well, for the most part:)

• Moet, I can't say for sure why this makes you uncomfortable, but I think I know one of two reasons, possibly. But, I have been wrong before! And your brave! Whatever you have done or whatever has been done to you, your still here and your joking! That's how I get through things! I'm a huge smart ass! • @ Marie heck and Shannie: I have empathy. Good luck with your "Daddy" and sister. I truly mean that! My story: I married my HS sweetheart. what at first was something I thought he'd grow out of (and we had the house, dog, daughter, great jobs) But (after nearly 10 years together) he was changed so much by his drug use (meth and crack) it became a belief system. He said I'd never understand. First he depleted our savings and stopped paying bills. But about the time he started preaching to me that, "I'm going to teach our daughter the RIGHT way to do drugs," I put him in an institution and (hate the stigma of being divorced) I had to leave (My daughter was only 5 years-old at the time). MY POINT: I believe these druggie-parents think they are still good people. That chaos in their life has become normal. ...... On a side note: I don't hate my first husband- it hurts too much to have that kind of hate.

• Shannie, Not only was my boiological father on drugs, but my step dad was too. As bad as it is to say, I don't really care what he is doing right now. He is probably getting high as I speak. Now, my step dad on the other hand, if he slipped it would break my heart! He has always been my daddy. Even when he was drunk and/or high, he was still my daddy. He started doing drugs and drinking when he was 9 and didn't completely stop til about 9 months ago. He will be 44 in June and it will probably be the first birthday in a long time that he will be clean. It tears a person up inside to watch someone they love go through that but it also taught me a few lessons. I have tried pot a few times and I drink occasionally, but I made a promise to myself, my family, and God that I would never turn out like that. And yes, while my mom and dad did party a lot when I was younger, they always made sure we were safe and taken care of. It never ceases to amaze me that people are more concerned about themselves than they are about their own children. It just makes me sick. Shannie, I am sorry about your sister. Hopefully one day she will get her life straightened out before something really bad happens. Just remember, one day at a time. You and your family are in my prayers, as is the girl from this story. Its her own fault and I am sickened by what she has done, but I will pray she gets her life straightened out.

• This is horrible, and Melanie I think your question (post) is a good one but my question is, why do drugs at all as a parent? Drugs in general are just stupid, but if your a not a parent and don't have plans on hurting anyone than go ahead and ruin your life, I could care less. When you have responsibilities like caring for a human life you no longer have the right to fuck your life up because it directly fucks up the life of the child in one way or the other. Marie, I am sorry you had to deal with your fathers addictions, I have a sister who chose to destroy her life as well and she has a child so I know how sad it is to have first row seats to a living breathing nightmare. This poor baby died because partying was more important to his mother than he was.

• This is just sick. Having a biological father who went to prison for making, selling, and being on meth, I know full well the horrible after affects of a meth-head. It is just sickening what meth will do to people. I'm glad the police charged her with murder and not some little thing that could possibly have her out in a few years. Hopefully, she can get the help she so desperately needs while she is in prison. Its horrible what happened to her baby, but she has no one to blame but herself.
