• Humane Society Director Jayne Vaughn obtained a video sent by text message of a kitten being burned alive. Officers determined the video's origin, and went to a home on Sunnydale Drive in Sevierville where the two men were questioned. The men took officers to a location on Pioneer Way off S. New Era Rd. where they indicated the video was made. Officers found evidence there that matched their story. • Sadly lot's of people it seems, animal abuse videos are numerous on the internet. The only saving grace is some websites have a culture where they actually work to track down animal abusers using clues from the videos, technical knowledge, and innovation to bring these sadistic people to justice irregardless of age. So yeah we have our dregs, but the world is full of people who make a difference in a good way too.
