Jarmecca Whitehead, a 34-year-old mom from Conyers, Georgia, was afraid of her daughters, according to a neighbor. They had been living elsewhere when they returned to live at her home in January. Four days later, she was beaten and stabbed to death…
Mom worried that her twin 16-year-olds, Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah Whitehead, would kill her someday.
Her 16-year-old twins Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah Whitehead claimed they found her body January 13 when they arrived home. But their stories never added up.
It may have taken five months to investigate, but detectives have finally charged them as adults with murder.
Police say neither girl seemed surprised or remorseful when she was arrested. Either the twins aren’t talking, or police haven’t revealed a motive.
But a neighbor says Jarmecca openly worried that her daughters would kill her. “The mother was kind of afraid that something like
that might happen,” Angela Avery told CBS Atlanta. “I can’t
explain why because the mother didn’t do a lot of talking, but she did
have that particular fear.”
