Vladimir Struk Strangles Stepdaughter's Dog; Jealous Because Dog Treated Better Than Him

​Vladimir Struk was jealous of the family's 13-year-old pit bull. He was living in St. Petersburg, Florida with his estranged wife, stepdaughter and grandmother. But as he later told police, the dog was living better than him. The dog got meat scraps and slept on the couch...

That's apparently more than Struk got. But since he was estranged from his wife -- and still living in the house -- he seemed unaware that it still beat sleeping under a viaduct with really stinky guys.

So he decided to take his beef with his wife and daughter out on the dog. He strangled it with a plastic tie, then dumped it in the garbage can. He also threatened to kill the rest of the family in the same manner.

He's since been charged with animal cruelty. We're hoping his new accommodations -- a Florida jail -- are much more to his liking.
