Alyssa Thomas, Age 6, Is Flagged on the No-Fly List as Possible Terrorist

• lol Jenn, I shouldn't talk anyway. I have a little one coming up on 2 yrs old, and I'm sure I'll be apologizing for him in the near future!

• Moet, sorry, that was most likely my daughter. She seemed to get a little tired of being in planes and in airports after I was late and missed our first flight. Won't happen again, please don't report her to DHS or TSA.

• Ha! That'll learn ya not to kick the back of MY seat, ya little terrorist!

• Considering we have US Senators already on the TSA No-Fly List (the late Sen. Ted Kennedy was an understandable addition, however), and ridiculous entries like singers Morrissey (because the once front-man for The Smiths sang a song about mooning the Queen of England) and Cat Stevens (because he's a Pacifist, Humanitarian and Nobel Peace Prize Winner in addition to being a convert to Islam). This doesn't surprise me in the least. The TSA No-Fly List needs to simply go away. We are no safer today than we were before 9/11. This Dystopian Bureaucratic charade simply needs to go away once and for all.

• A 6 year old little girl? Seriously? *headdesk* And the government wonders why people think they're a bunch of idiots.

• Why can't people just use a bit of common sense, the same thing also happened with a little boy who was 8 years old.

• But yet we Russian spies and planes and boats full of illegals buying homes in the suburbs moving in next door. There is allot wrong with this picture.

• @Manny I would include any CPS worker who makes up a case against a innocent family. just to take the kid.s. away from the parent.s. . along with anyone who calls cps. because they have a grudge against a person in a family.....

• Deer TSA and Department of Homeland Security, Please add the following to your no-flight list since they are terrorist: IRS Telemarketers AT&T Most Bank institutions in America Oil companies Health Insurance companies Some Law enforcement agencies Everyone with a criminal record The soup nazi BP and their oil spill attacks Sincerily The rest who are not mentioned aboved.

• This seemed to have happened a few years ago as well. There was a family going on vacation and when they got to airport the family were detained because their 3 or 4 yr was on the "do not fly list". From what i remember of the article, the family choose to sue airliner and TSA and it was settled out of court (gag order in place, no details allowed)because the family was told to get on board and when they fought to stay with child, someone got arrested. Dont remember who (father i believe) TSA told them that they had to board the plane and that they would contact Child services to pick the child up so the case could be further investigated. Dont remember why, not sure if name or what. But there has been others as well. Just not kids. Mostly adults. I think that TSA needs to be updated. They allow all kinds of people to travel without checking. Their lists need to be reinvestigated. Because it seems they are not current information on them. I hope this family sues as well.

• why are people so stupid? seriously a six year old. she probably has the name of a terrorist..... i would arrest her parents for giving her that name (jk by the way). poor family.im pretty sure the real terrorist is flying around everywhere and not being questioned.
