For some (really stupid) reason, It's become custom in this country to wreck lots of stuff whenever your home team wins a championship. Here's a video released by the LAPD that shows a mob attacking a taxi cab following the Lakers' winning the NBA title...

To the participants in this shameful display, basically young, male youths of varying (albeit, two predominant) races; the rule book goes out the window for you. Guilty until proven innocent - you brought it on yourselves, and you don't deserve any better. If society doesn't trust you, you need only look at this video clip to remind yourselves of why not. Don't point the finger at anyone else - look in the mirror. Why should anyone trust you? All you've done, is proven all of the naysayers all along that they're right - you are hoodlums who are, and shall remain until society deems you otherwise, guilty until proven innocent. It's a sad state of affairs.
This is why I hope LA never wins another championship again!!! That city is full of the most stupid people existing on the planet!!! Get a grip losers if your team wins your actually suppose to be happy, not destroy things you dumb asses!!!!!
I was down there the night you won the Super Bowl, Marci. New Orleans did indeed handle it with festiveness and merriment. I think you need to send a task force out to LA and teach them how to party properly.

Can someone explain this to me, cause I am totally confused!!! So glad I don't live around morons like this. We know how to party, and don't need to tear shit up and burn it to have a good time!!
When we won the Super Bowl, we did not turn cars over or set them on fire. We were too busy dancing on them. New Orleans knows how to party and we are professionals. We Do not destroy things. Super Bowl Parade: 800,000 people and no arrest. And they call us backward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pehaps one day civilization will extend to these people.

I think it's just that Detroit has manlier riots, Gram. Look at this video. It takes 58 mopes with cell cameras just to set fire to one cab. These guys are practically French. But people in Detroit burn down abandoned houses just to celebrate Halloween. Dainty LA guys just don't riot well enough to get anyone's attention.

I love how LA riots anytime they have won a championship in the last 15 years and no one says anything about, but Detroit (my hometown) had a riot 26 years ago and we cant live it down. Kobe gets 5 rings, and LA gets millions in property damage and police overtime, while Detroit has 7 championships in various pro sports since the '86 riot, and has hosted events such as the world series, Superbowl, and the NCAA basketball tournament without issue, and with glowing reviews from most who attended. I guess in this country we really don't care about redemption. We would rather mock Detroit as a crime ridden wasteland of the failed American dream, then support its resurgence, and we would rather laud LA for its forward thinking, proggresive attitude, when it offers Americas best example of how to create a crime ridden wasteland of failed American dreams.
People are freaking morons. Seriously.
