| Allison Coss and Scott Sippola were arrested after trying to extort $680,000 from alleged actor John Stamos in exchange for embarrassing photos |
He claimed to possess the photos taken at the party, and warned that they'd been damaging to Stamos' career if released to the media.
Since Stamos' career is permanently damaged by every rerun of Full House, we're not sure how these photos could further tarnish his fleeting luster. Nor have police said what the photos contain. But since Coss was only 17 at the time the photos were taken, we're guessing they involve a 46-year-old has-been prancing with an under-aged girl.
"Brian L" was demanding $680,000 from Stamos to keep the photos private. So the alleged actor's lawyer called the FBI, who began to monitor Coss and her friend, Scott Sippola, 30. The two were arrested after an agent, posing as one of Stamos' gophers, met them for a money drop at a Michigan airport.
Stamos's lawyer says there's nothing embarrassing about the photos -- at least nothing more embarrassing than his work on Full House. But plea talks have failed, and now Coss and Sippola are headed for trial in Michigan next month.
