Ryann Bunnell Crow and Jesse Crow met last summer. Their speed romance quickly led to marriage. But it seems Jesse grew tired of his new wife just as quickly. A few months into their marriage, he began openly seeing his old flame again, even spending the night...

Then Ryann abruptly disappeared from her home in Prunedale, California in February. She didn't show up for work, and her car was found abandoned in a neighboring town. At the time, she was telling friends of her marital problems and thoughts of divorce.

Police immediately set their sights on Jesse. He was caught running a marijuana grow house, and suspicion soon lingered on whether he'd killed her to keep her from ratting him out about drug dealing.

Police arrested Jesse for murder. They didn't have a body, and detectives never said how they knew Ryann was dead, but they did seem awfully sure.

Three weeks ago, the decomposing body of a woman matching Ryann's description was found underneath a bridge near Foster City. It's now been positively ID'd as Ryann's.

In the meantime, Jesse Crow sits in jail on murder charges. He's pleaded not guilty.
