These two need to be in prison, for no less than five years each, just for what they did to this poor animal. I firmly believe that animal abusers should be microchipped (yeah, just like a pet). That way, if they ever get near an animal, they get busted. Heck, since monsters like this move on to hurt fellow humans, the chip would help us pinpoint their movements regardless.

• I am in agreement with a couple of the posters touching on the theme that these two are not on a good path together.They seem to be toxic around each other at the expense of those poor animals, and soon enouph at the expense of some innocent person.It seems these two think they are taking on some Bonnie and Clyde adventure, pushing limits with each other even after they were'nt suppose to be around each other.I hope some type of punishment sticks on these little creeps.

• I say we tie them in a area and let the animals run all over them. Those things can get nasty sometimes. Usually they are calm and gentle but i saw one at a fair up here that was a little pissed and it kicked this guy until he was on the ground and then started stomping on him. they ended up tasing the animal to get him off the guy. Seems that the story was: guy was trying to grab the wool and the animal was trying to eat. Didnt want to be bothered. Guy finally grabbed a handfull of wool and pulled a little to rough. Alpaca got royally pissed. there are farms all over up here of these gentle animals. And the owner was so angry he pressed charges against the guy. I guess the owner said that the animal wouldn't be put down, but he couldn't show it anymore in public. and something about the "papers" now having to show it was violent. Not sure what that's about unless it means he can't sell it because it's a violent animal. Otherwise, they are beautiful animals. Some up here even rent them out for birthday parties. They have a lot of wool on them. More than sheep.

• @weeboo: I was thinking the same thing. Obviously she fits the axiom "beauty is only skin deep" to a tee! Their situation just reeks of one bad thing leads to another; the snowball effect if you will. When you start doing dumb things, you keep doing dumb things and it just gets worse and worse.

• Anyone who purposely inflicts sadistic torture on innocent animals should be beaten within an inch of his/her life. This sh*t has got to stop.

• I am so glad I don't understand. Yesterday I was afraid I was going to have to euthanize a maimed chipmunk and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I am so glad they managed to dig deeper graves for themselves, because our animal cruelty laws in Ohio are far from adequate.
