On today's Weird Teacher Watch, we're wondering exactly how Michael Furey figured his elaborate scheme would play out once his 17-year-old victim realized that he was not the 16-year-old hottie his MySpace profile portrayed him as, but her 44-year-old science teacher...

Despite the fact that Furey has been teaching science at Paulsboro High School in Woodbury, New Jersey for the past five years, he is not a very bright man.

Furey recently decided it would be fun to create a MySpace profile. Realizing that young girls may not be so into 44-year-old married science teachers, however, he decided it would be much to his advantage to pose as a 16-year-old heartthrob.

And it worked.

Furey soon found himself an admirer in one of his 17-year-old female students.

As their online flirting grew into heated sexual anecdotes over a six month period, Furey decided he couldn't take it anymore. He had to meet with her in person, forgetting that she'd probably be disappointed to be meeting up with her flabby old teacher rather than the boy of her dreams.

Regardless, Furey arranged a time and place for the two to meet. She agreed.

But when she arrived at their meeting place on June 3, the girl wasn't just disappointed to see Mr. Furey standing before her -- she was absolutely grossed out.

After they chatted for a minute, the girl returned home and promptly told her mother what happened.

Last week, Furey was arrested at the school and charged with enticing his 17-year-old student.
