Weird Teacher Watch: Jennifer Leigh Clark Busted For Shoplifting

• very few teachers get fired. . they are "rubber roomed" for a while. and as soon as the furor dies down. they are reasigned to another school, if not a different district all together. . rubber roomed means to be sitting in the school or at home doing nothing. but getting paid for it.

• As soon as my friend in my biology class that i had with ms. Clark told me about this, i looked it up. I have to say that I don't beleive it. Ms Clark was my favorite teacher last year. Plus, she was still teaching after this all year. Wouldn't they fire her if she actually did this? because this happened right before my freshman year when i had her. It's far more likely that her boyfriend was the one that did it, and she didnt tell anyone about it. Love you Ms. Clark!

• Well why in the hell would her husband, a PROFESSIONAL soccer player be stealing at kohls...come on...and why would she be spotted putting things in her bag...she was my teach last year and the worst teacher ever..shes a horrible example .

• I work with Jennifer Clark and I can tell you she is one of the most dedicated and proficient teachers the school system has. It is my understanding that her boyfriend was doing the shoplifting but she was also arrested because she was with him and didn't do anything to stop him. That is why she was charged only with "conspiracy to commit shoplifting", while he was charged with the actual shoplifting larceny charge. You folks who know absolutely nothing about the person or the facts and just want to slam people for warped out kicks, need to understand the harm you may cause.

• This is truly a funny article. It comes to no surprise that she would get caught up in a sitation such as this. It just really shows how low of a person she is and I'm happy everyone can finally recognize it. She has always been a negative person and this only adds one more character trait to top it off. What a great example for your students =)

• This story is not right! Get your facts right....Martinez was the one charged. People love to judge before they know the facts. Have you ever seen mug shots of any other shoplifters? Was Martinez mug shot in the newspaper? The media loves to slander people to sell papers. Ms Clark has not been convicted of anything yet, and people should reserve judgement until that time.

• I couldn't believe this! Well Ms.Clark was my favorite teacher even though she told me i talked to much. Sometimes i would ask her if she got some of her clothes from Kolhles sometimes. becasue i would have the same stuff. But this is shocking seeing as in her bf is a pro soccer player and has played for the US team. But shes a great teacher, she just made a stupid mistake! I LOVE YOU!!

• Hahaha , really "seduces ?" oh my god that is the last thing she would be doing. 1st stop making up crap because i'm pretty sure you don't even know her , so do everyone a favor and just stop ! She is the best teacher I agree and I did so well in her class it was the best one I had that year. so get out of here with that -------------> One more thing lets be realistic here you weren't at the store so stop acting like you know everything! • Wait, let me get this straight... "Along with the help of her boyfriend, Clark began shoving items into her bag" Something doesn't sound quite right here. I've heard of supportive, stand by your woman kind of men before, but this is not normal behavior for any couple. There is something more going on here than bored teacher resorting to cleptomania to get her rocks off. I know that things can get tough on a Teacher's paltry salary, but it sounds like something worse than your typical money problems as well. To be honest, it sounds like her boy-friend may have introduced the good teacher to a new lifestyle involving stealing to pay for their other illegal habits on the side. I hope that such isn't the case, but I'm sad to say that it seems mighty suspicious and not quite right. Regardless, as the case may be, I hope she takes her Court Mandated Timeout to heart and uses it as a Reality Check to get her life back on track.

• Ms. Clark was my forensics teacher at Osbourn Park HS. She was the best teacher Ever. She taught me well and if any of you met her you would like her. Dont hate on someone that you have no idea about!!!! MS. Clark this is for you!

• You can tell just from her picture that she knows she's in a whooooole heap of trouble!
