"Kudos! I hope they give him a medal or something to show the city's apprecation. See, i thought there was no one out there that would help a stranger! and once again, Pete finds another one.
"On that note, A little story that happened to me last night: I went to the local store for milk. Around 8 ish last night. When i came out, my car wouldn't start! I was so upset i almost cried. But a good samartian (sorry spelled wrong) came to my aid.
"This man was late 60's Portguese. He fiddled with my car for almost a half hour. Still wouldn't start. As i was making thoughts to call a tow truck (massive lost money!) another man came to help. This man was a Jamacian. He told me that it sounded as if the fatory security on my grand am had disabled my engine! I freaked out!
"So i called home. my old man started hitting online sites. After about an half hour, he called and told me that he may have found a way to fix on spot.
"At this time, i had 8 gentlemen (and i mean gentlemen) was standing around me and my car. They pushed it into a valid parking space (bad me!). and when my s/o called me and i put the jamician gentleman on the phone. Seems we needed to reset the factory security settings. So these 8 gentlemen did exactly what my s/o read to them from online. 20 minutes later, my car started!!!!!!!!!
"I had 8 men standing around cheering and there wives/gf's in their cars were also cheering.!!!!!! These men choose to take time out of their lives to help a stranded woman in a busy conviences store parking lot. and they all spend upwards of 2 hours with me.
"I deeply thanked everyone and took all's names and addresses. I will be sending thank you's in the mail to each and everyone of them. Not that it matters: these were the nationalities: portugues, puerto rican, white, jamacian, and africian american!
"These 8 strangers made me see that some people are still good hearted and do not hesitate to offer assistance to anyone. Kudos to ALL people who honestly help others without thoughts to their own lives! And believe there is still good people out there!
"This has given me the idea that my way of thinking has been erred. I love all humanity!!!!!!!! I know this isn't where this maybe should go, but wanted to share this for the "world" to see and maybe see hope at the end of the rainbow for humanity."
