• I heard this story the day it happened as I live in the same town. Although until today I did not connect the name, I know Jennie and am offended by what some of you have to say about her! I am assuming that most of you do not know Jennie or anyone else involved his this horrible crime. Who knows maybe this girls IQ is higher than yours!!! And reaping what she sows...do you have proof that she was a bad mom??? I would assume most of you are just assuming. I agree strongly w/ Jim, we need to pray for her recovery and this doesn't turn to a homicide case! I was not going to read any of these comments, I must say after reading a few of them I am very sorry I did!

• For the record, I don't find any of this funny at all...there are no haha or lol moments or statements that are even remotely humorous. Two lives are destroyed, and we can only pray that Jennie Loump survives. I'm not sure if there are other kids in the house, but I do know that she has other family in the surrounding area that love and care about her. Routine search of Jennie's name, to get a status on her condition, turned up results from a local fair contest in which both Mother and Daughter were participants and winners. So they must have been somewhat close. For a daughter, child to even consider killing a parent over perceived love shows that this young lady was so desperate for that love that she allowed herself to be controlled. It doesn't absolve her from the guilt....it's just amazingly sad. Jennie should be the focus right now. All of us in the area pray for her and her entire family.

• What amazes me is that Antoine had to talk her through boiling the water,and throwing it on her mother. Do they only have 1 brain cell between them? Hopefully these cruel morons will not be allowed to breed.Her mother let her live with her,and apparently was concerned about her, and this pond scum repays her like this. I hope her mother pulls through,I hope this horrible bitch never gets out of jail.

• I was reading about this in the local news (I live near Ephrata, in Lancaster) and I can't think of a more horrible thing to do to a person honestly. And while they're helplessly sleeping!? Sick! She'll go away for a long time whether her mother lives or not.
