52-year-old Donna Larson was a secretary for the city of West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and by all accounts an excellent worker. But the divorced mother of four also had health problems. That's not a recipe for economic stability...

Donna Larson managed to stave off eviction from her home from two years by faking her son's death, then her own
So in 2006, she began to fall behind on her mortgage payments. That's when she came up with a visionary plan to thwart the henchmen of the anti-Christ, otherwise known as the U.S. banking industry (pictured above).

She told Mephistopheles that her son had died while serving in the armed forces. She would resume her payments as soon as his death benefits policy paid off. So the bank granted her an extension.

But while her son indeed served his country, he was very much alive, which meant payment for his death benefits would be some time in coming. Still, this little bit of fraud allowed Donna to stave off foreclosure for another year.

In 2007, the devil finally foreclosed on her home. But Donna didn't move out. The bank moved to have her evicted. So she came up with another plan.

Se pretended to have retained a lawyer, then pretended to be that lawyer's assistant, faxing the judge a letter saying there had been a death in the lawyer's family, and he wouldn't be able to show up in court for quite some time.

This allowed her to string out eviction until 2008. In the meantime, Donna's financial position was getting worse. Health problems forced her out of her job and on to disability. And by May of 2008, she was close to getting tossed from the home.

So she came up with yet another plan. This time she had someone posing as a relative call the devil to say Donna had died. Would it be okay, the relative asked, if they could have some additional time to move Donna's stuff from the home?

In a rare case of mercy, the bank agreed to the delay. But it would soon find out that Donna wasn't quite yet dead. So Satan called the cops.

Last week, Donna was indicted on charges of larceny and perjury. But this is one case where we hope the bad guy doesn't go to jail.
