Just after Colton Harris-Moore was extradited to Miami, Florida , folks in Cody, Wyoming claimed that the Barefoot Bandit paid their town a visit, too. The only evidence they have at this point, however, is a large footprint discovered next to the parking spot where a truck was stolen...

For the most part, Harris-Moore's extensive two-year crime spree took place in and around Washington state, where he ended up stealing a dozen cars, as well as a few airplanes and boats.

It wasn't until the last few months when the Barefoot Bandit extended his territory to include the rest of the United States, leaving clues here and there just to keep the authorities guessing.

As the feds in Miami ready charges to bring against the 19-year-old, law enforcement across the nation is claiming that their citizens fell victim to Harris-Moore, as well, though few have the proof they need just yet.

Take, for example, recent events in a small town called Cody, Wyoming -- just next door to Yellowstone National Park.

On June 13, Cody police got a call after a truck had been stolen from the parking lot of the Cody Roofing Company.

There, police spotted a "giant" footprint next to a trash can -- not far from where the truck had been parked.

It wasn't long before the truck was found sitting along Highway 16, out of gas, keys in the ignition -- the exact modus operandi of Harris-Moore.

Just a quarter-mile away, another car was stolen that was later found at the Buffalo Airport, where police found a muddy foot print atop the bed cover.

Still, it wasn't until Harris-Moore was recently captured in the Bahamas that the Cody PD decided to take its investigation more seriously and finally prove that it was indeed Harris-Moore.

However, until the department receives the DNA results to prove a link between the print and Harris-Moore, the best they can do is rule out Bigfoot as a suspect.

In the end, authorities are saying that Harris-Moore committed over 100 hundred crimes, costing a collective $3 million in losses and damages.

So much for his being "victimless" crimes...
