Marci Elliott was only 21 years old. She was a student at the University of West Georgia. During the summer, she taught at Due West Academy outside Atlanta, where her mother worked and where the director described her as a superior employee...

Marcelle Elliott when to a friend's apartment to get a book a week ago. That's the last time anyone saw her alive.
But last Thursday she went missing. She went to Carrolton, Georgia to pick up a book from a friend. She parked her car outside a student apartment building where she used to live, and witnesses saw her walk toward the complex. But no one ever saw her make it inside.

She hadn't been seen since that day. There was no traffic on her cell phone, and her credit cards hadn't been used. It was completely out of character for Marci to just take off.

So her father started combing through her phone calls to see if friends could offer any help. That led him to 29-year-old Farrah Strength. Dad talked to Strength a number of times over the subsequent week. She seemed helpful in finding the missing woman, but her story would slowly fall apart.

Last night, Strength and 31-year-old Joshua Clay were arrested in the case. They reportedly led detectives to Marci's body.

Marci and Strength were friends, and police believe Strength may have lured the woman to the apartment building. But detectives have yet to release a motive, nor have they said how Marci died. All we know at moment was that her body was found in a rural area.

We'll keep you posted.
