Tyler Tirado, Moron of the Day: Calls Military Woman a 'Baby Killer,' Hits Her With Beer Bottle

The young soldiers-in-training are students at the Defense Language Institute. But since he's a prissy dickhead with no sense of history, Tirado and his friends decided to approach the young soldiers and call them "baby killers."
You may recall this from the Vietnam era, when returning soldiers were similarly denounced. It didn't matter that most had no choice about being sent to that misguided war. Nor did it matter that most had never killed any babies. Such was the sweeping rhetoric of the times.
But it seems even more moronic today. It's doubtful that language students have killed any babies. And the effete Mr. Tirado appears to come from the granola wing of liberalism that often forgets a central, blessed tenet of progressive theory: Always show respect to working people trying to improve their lot. Which is exactly what the young students were doing.
But Tirado is apparently the Monterey version of a tough guy -- commonly referred to elsewhere as "A Huge Pussy." Our guess is that in his spare time, he hurls $12 lattes at little girls for playing with Barbies, denouncing them as patriarchal oppressors.
He and his friends started insulting the students, who decided to leave to avoid a confrontation. So Tirado chucked a beer bottle, hitting a 20-year-old woman in the head. After all, there's no better way to show the superiority of your morality than by hurting an innocent young woman.
She had the gash in her head stapled at a hospital, but later identified Tirado as the assailant. He's now charged with assault with a deadly weapon and assault on military personnel.
We say the rosary that the vets sharing a cell with him give him a lesson in some old school, Rust Belt liberalism. It seems young Tirado needs a forceful refresher course on his history.
