• @ProblemSolver - as I said I fully support the military doing what they are trained to and ordered to do. What I don't believe is that they should be there in the first place - remember that is NOT their decision. Afghanistan (to some degree I will grant you) however you can't seriously tell me that 9/11 has provided ANY justification for what is going on in Iraq? Saddam/Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks. If you can point me to some credible evidence to the contrary please do so and I will post a complete apology. As for the war being fought on MY front lawn ... of course I don't want that ... I am sure if you asked any of the Iraqui civilians the same question you would get the same answer ... unfortunately they don't have the benefit of choice. As I said in my first post ... don;t confuse the troops on the front line doing what they have to do, what they are ordered to do and what they are trained to do with the PEOPLE WHO PUT THEM THERE. The troops have all my respect and gratitude (and I'm not even American) ... the decision makers, however .... not so much.

• @ samildanach In case you don't realize it 9/11 (3000++ lives lost in one day) is one of the major reasons we are in Iraq and Afganastan. If we had not gone over there to try and kill the threat then the threat would have surely came to us in the form of more bombings and innocent lives lost in America. Question, Would you want the fight to be taking place on your front lawn, in your neighborhood, in your city, in your state, where you, your family, your friends, live work and play??? I didn't think so. You should be DAMN grateful for the military doing what they are best at so you don't have to. • @Jones .... you are frigging kidding me right? Go and do some research on your own Christian Militias in the States. Do some research on the Crusades and the behaviour of the two sides. EVERY religion has it's crackpots and extremists. Islam in and of itself is no more or less evil than Christianity .... it's the people who use it as an excuse to do evil shit that are to blame. I am not against any religion per se ... I think having something to believe in helps a lot of people through their lives ... it's ORGANISED religion (of any kind) that I have issues with.

• ProblemSolver and grandma ... you guys realise that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 right? That being said I do draw the distinction between the men and women on the front line fighting for their lives and the people sitting safe and sound in their offices raking in the cash. Loved the vid and if these guys were setting up an IED they got what they deserved. but don't confuse the people over in Iraq and Afghanistan doing what they have to do to get the job done with the people and decisions responsible for them being there in the first place. • Very nice shot. I have seen this before. If you look on the right part of the screen you can see the forward observer calling in the strike. That one missle probably saved 4 or 5 american lives.

• Hey WoPhatCat, I am VERY aware of the contracting out of prisoners in the US. In more ways then i care to tell you. I agree with Everyone (except you) that our men and females are a hourly target for the insurgents in iran/Iraq And i feel not one spot of remorse when one of them are gunned down. We have lost more then we should ever have over there. I have family members there right now. and i pray that HE will bring these boys home safe. I dont agree with war of any kind. But when our family members (and other's family members) are being used for target practice, and our people (milatary and civilians) are coming home in bags, boxes or not at all, then i say """ FRY THEM ALL"""" Lose someone in the 911 attacks or as a soldier who is over there, and see how you feel then. • I don't know, Kathy. I think it's only human nature to rejoice in killing someone first before they kill you. They're in survival mode, and most of us will never be forced into that position, which makes it kind of hard to judge their response.

To the American justice system, I fully believe that it will be a lot cheaper on the American taxpayers wallet if you sent the really bad people in prison today to Iraq or Afganastan.
