That's when Curtis Jackson Maroney, 51, came to her aid. The bail bondsman from Batesburg-Leesville paid her $16,122 bail. But he wasn't looking to just make a little money off the woman's misfortune. He figured he'd bought himself a slave.

| Curtis Maroney always wanted to be Dog the Bounty Hunter, but all he could score was the bad hair. Here's a second photo so you can take a gander of its full majesty. |
But when she went back to the car, Maroney must have known something was up -- or maybe he simply thought her servant skills weren't up to snuff. He revoked the woman's bond, arrested her, and brought her back to the Lexington County jail.
That's where the woman told police what happened to her. And their subsequent investigation reveals how damn near any degenerate can get a bail bondsman license in South Carolina.
He'd not only used fake documents to re-arrest the woman, but it seems our douchebag has an extensive criminal history of his own. Among the highlights: Convictions for simple assault, pointing a gun at someone, and three different incidents of domestic violence. A fourth domestic violence charge from 2008 is still pending.
Now the man who hoped that he'd someday be like Dog the Bounty Hunter -- he already comes equipped with the really bad hair -- is sitting in jail. In a cruel twist of fate, a judge has denied bail.
