In the small town of Chino Valley, Arizona, a Hells Angel lived just around the corner from a member of the Vagos biker gang. And the town wasn't big enough for the both of them. The two clubs have been battling for supremacy in northwest Arizona...

It was only a matter of time before one had to prove they were the cooler guys with gray beards riding Harleys. And that time came Saturday, when the gangs engaged in an old-fashioned shootout that left five injured and 27 arrested.

Details are still sketchy, but the shootout apparently started at one of the biker's Chino Valley home. Police say at least 50 shots were fired. But since bikers are only slightly above gangbangers on the criminal evolutionary scale, only five people managed to get hit.

For those of you scoring at home, that's .100 batting average, which isn't good enough to keep you in the Major Leagues of Crime, son.

No deaths have been reported, though one victim -- and we're using the term loosely -- was flown to a Phoenix hospital 100 miles away. Twenty-seven managed to get arrested, though their charges weren't immediately available.

Police say the Hells Angels and the Vagos have been engaged in a running war in northwest Arizona. Detectives are now worried that fellow bikers will flock to the area to avenge the shootings. Due to poor aim, it's doubtful anyone else will be injured. But the chicken and goat population of Chino Valley is said to be on high alert for stray bullets.
