Macarena Clyburn, Moron of the Day: Tries to Kill Neighbor Whose Dog Bit Her Daughter

• Glad I watched the news tonight to see this woman's face. A few months ago while I was walking through a parking lot in a shopping center, I was ran over by a car, several witnesses tried to stop the person in the car from getting away, but instead she revved up her car and tried to mow down the witnesses,luckily they weren't hurt as she went speeding off. I reported this to the police that day, there was no license plate on the car, but I remembered this womans image, because it was burned into my head, the way she looked out her window at me after she ran me over, and still kept going, how can I forget. So I am watching the news tonight, and I say "THIS IS THE WOMAN WHO HIT ME!!" I can't believe what great luck I have to coincidentally watch the news at a time I usually don't. She was back in court again today for DUI and hit and run, doesn't surprise me at all. Now I guess I'll get my day in court with her, now that she's been identified!!!

• My fighting with Castanero was a result of her rudeness and lack of help for my daughter's safety. She pushed me first and I answered back. She shouldnt start fights if she cant fight. She thought we were in a cat fight. None of us the neighborhood are going to keep our children inside at all times, because she lets her crazie dog run arround crazy, bitting everyone. P.S dont always believe the Tabloids, its not the whole truth. is better to read the transcripts of the court. Thats the truth. Without Rosemary Castanero because she refused to testify on her behalve. All she had to do was tell the TRUTH... easie (right??)

• First of all, Im free, I spent 2 1/2 months in jail, for Rosemarie Castanero's lies. Her dog runs around the neighbor hood unattended. Tries to bite kids but cant reach the sometimes. On this day the dog BIT my daughter on het butt, breaking the skin, as the evidence demontrated in court. Castanero later provided actual proof of vaccines to the police. Those of which she denied to prove to me. Before I even came to her house, she cussed out my mother for asking about the shots. This old lady was very violante rude. I even told her I wasnt trryin to sue her. It was for my baby girls safety. The famous knife i pulled out of my lunch bag was going to be used on her dog, I told her that if she got the dog near me I was going to stabb it. the dog didnt come , so I threw the knife by her front lawn. We kept fighthin the cops came, I got arrested, went to jail. Sorry Castanero,did aint no movie of the week. I was a mother protecting my child. That's is.

• While its true that Violence begets Violence, I think sometimes it's necessary to deter those who seek to hurt yourself, or others. In your daughters situation Mark, that was the Best Instruction on how to deal with mostly harmless childhood hooligans. Though there are other more severe situations occurring Daily in which more drastic means of violence would be MANDATORY for survival.(for instance if a woman is being attacked by a would-be rapist, and rams her fingers through his eyes permanently blinding him, then that act of violence served as a necessary deterrent and saved her from having violence and shame inflicted upon her, and likely saved countless more victims from suffering a similar or worse fate.) Therefore in such a situation Violence Solved a Social problem by deterring a violent individual from inflicting violence upon more victims. (Extenuating circumstances....they occur in most instances of social phenomena.)

• My idiot drunk neighbor used to hoist her kids over my 4 foot fence to play with the dogs, without my knowledge. 3 dogs, including a very kind Rott. She also would not stop asking if the kids could jump on the trampoline. She and her husband are both lawyers, but claimed to not understand the liability. Stupid people cause most problems.

• I had idiot neighbors that wouldn't keep their nasty tempered dog in their yard. It went after me, my husband, and went after my kid, the mailman. UPS stopped delivering to our neighborhood and we all had to go to the depot and pick up our packages. The damn dog use to kill other animals and leave them in my backyard. It finally went house and tried to attack a much bigger dog. It lost. Seems like maybe there is a history of "keep your dog out my yard" here. Though maybe it is just me...

• Our first dog a vicious, bad tempered, bitch. She bit me loads of times but never bit my youngest siblings. I miss that dog, she was awesome..

Two weeks ago I just started letting my 13 year old daughter stay home alone while I am at work. The day before yesterday she was playing outside with the neighborhood kids and several of the kids brought out BB-Guns and were shooting the other kids in the faces with them. My daughter almost had her eye shot out and needed 3 stitches on the bridge of her nose. I was furious and livid, and of course the police said "boys will be boys" and didn't want to do anything. Considering the parents of these boys are out-of-work immigrants who probably don't have Liability Insurance, there would be no point in talking to them or threatening to sue them as chances are it is just going to escalate into a Gooberfest Free-for-All. So, rather than take the law into my own hands and dispense some overly protective righteous parental justice like this woman thought she was doing, I just taught my daughter how to disarm someone with a firearm. When I got home from work yesterday my daughter had locked herself inside and had a nice collection of three BB-Guns she had taken from the neighborhood boys. Needless to say, the boys' parents have yet to come over asking for them back. Violence solves nothing. It only begets more violence and eventually time in Jail. I can understand that snowflake is this woman's pride and joy, but for snowflake's sake, think before acting out irrationally and prematurely!

• I have two dogs and I work with a rescue organization and have had dozens pass through my house within the past year. The two dogs that I have are both very calm and loving and I would trust them with my life. However, there is never a situation where I would allow a young child around my dogs or any other dog without adult supervision. Children aren't always gentle with pets, and a dog's reaction to any kind of pain is usually a warning nip. Because of this, I make sure that if my dogs are around anyone when I'm not there, that that person knows how to handle a dog. We don't know what happened in this story; however, since the dog didn't break the skin, I'm sure it was just a warning and wasn't a ruthless attack out of aggression. The sad thing is that the dog will most likely have to be quarantined and maybe even put down depending on the breed and now this child's mother is going to jail for making a brash decision.

• I've been attacked by a dog, and I remember how pissed my dad was. I think I would be the same way, but I would definitely look at the scenario, what really happened and the damage done to my kid. And like others have said I would never try to exact revenge on the owner unless I found out the owner was the one who forced the dog to attack, then I'd get em both.

• My daughter was attacked by a German Shepard. He did break the skin on her side, shoulder, and neck. He also pulled out a lot of her hair trying to drag her away from me. It was scary. I thought about killing the dog, but never the dog's owner. I don't see how killing the owner would help anything.

• The dog bit the 4 year old but didn't break the skin so the mom decides to kill the dogs owner...what part of that makes any sense? When I was little I got bitten by a big dog (Half German Shepard, half wolf) it didn't break the skin all that happened was that the dog got told no, got a slap on the snout and later that day the dog was licking me to death. My mom just reacted like it was part of a normal day, I didn't get hurt so why worry? Why the hell does this woman think that killing someone is the thing to do? It's not like the dog attacked the 4 year old, or put the girl in the hospital or anything, if the dog had done that then I would see it a bit justified to be extremely upset at the owner, but not kill her. God people are so stupid.

• I think this chick woke up the wrong side of the bed this morning. Shame the poor daughter...did the mother not think of what would happen to her if she actually got it right and killed that women.... Prison - another 1 Daughter - 0 Use your brains!!! if you actually have any!

• @Caligula "Some may say that a 4 year old alone in their back yard unsupervised is fine, but I think that it is unrealistic to believe that your child will be safe in this day and age. A four year old is still very young to be left alone unattended in any situation" My 3 year old hangs out on my deck all by herself, while I'm in the kitchen 10 feet away... I think she is safe from predators because her canine sister is a pit who looks way scarier than she is and our backyard is fenced in.

• Macarena is a scary bitch. Maybe it's that name. Good thing she is an incompentent stabber. I have a feeling we'll be reading about her again-when she is on the wrong end of a kitchen knife.

• The biggest question that I have here is why was the 4 year old around the neighbor's dog to begin with? Was she being supervised appropriately when this incident occured and did the grandmother see the dog bite the 4 year old? There are a lot of things here that do not add up. If the 4 year old was not being supervised and was allowed to play in the backyard without an adult sitting outside with them at all times, then we do not fully know if the dog just attacked the child or the child may have done something to provoke the dog (for example: hitting the dog, pulling the dog's tail, etc.) Please understand, I am not blaming the child, the dog, or any adult in this situation. I am just asking for more information because it seems that this entire situation may have occured because a 4 year old was not been supervised at all times or the neighbor just has a really mean dog. There are too many unanswered questions here. If the 4 year old was outside alone and unsupervised, then she was not being cared for appropriately and it would not surprise me that something like a dog biting the child would occur. Did the grandmother see the child get bitten or did the 4 year old run to grandma crying that the dog next door had bitten her? As far as the mother's reaction to the situation, she is apparently not mentally balanced. I am a parent myself, so I can empathize with her anger and feelings that she needs to do something to protect her child. But, she has now made sure that she will not be around to be there for her child because she will be in jail all because of her failure to rationalize the entire incident and try to handle it like a responsible adult. Instead of asking her own mother if the child was being watched at all times and asking her own mother how the child wound up being in the situation where a dog had access to bite the child, she quickly jumped to conclusions and blamed the neighbor and the dog without finding out all the particulars and dynamics that occured that allowed this situation to happen. Way to go there mom! This lady should be charged with attempted murder and be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The police should also inquire if the grandmother was watching the child appropriately when this situation occured. Some may say that a 4 year old alone in their back yard unsupervised is fine, but I think that it is unrealistic to believe that your child will be safe in this day and age. A four year old is still very young to be left alone unattended in any situation. All in all, this is a very sad situation for everyone involved and I am very glad the elderly victim was able to gain the upper hand in this situation.
