• The funny part of all this is that your story is not accurate, and your editorializing shows that you are not only a koolaid drinking liberal, but also a stupid one. • Well, i won't go into my thoughts and feelings on Obama. But... I believe this soldier is wrong. it doesn't matter who gave the exeitive order to deploy, the fact of the matter is, she joined the service. And part of her contract was to uphold justice against the USA by any means as possible. She had no right to refuse deployment. That is part of her contract also. Not just the bonus money for signing into the service. or the "free" college money, or VA money if she makes it to the end of her committment. She choose to join. I don't see anywhere where she was forced to join or she would go to jail, or prison, or she would lose a family member ect. The lawsuit was and is frivolous. She just didn't want to deploy. Well guess what, no soldier wants to deploy. But they do because it's their duty and job. I hope this soldier goes to the brig and afterwards is dishonorable discharged. She then will have no bonus money. No college or va benefits via the american tax payers. And no retirement benefits!!! And being as she is a Captain, she screwed her career path all up!!! Sux being her(him?) This soldier isn't a rookie or someone who has been in the service only a few years. Captain stripes takes a while to get. Even if the fast track was used. Ibet if we ask every soldier over seas if they want to be there, not one person will agree they WANT to be there instead of state side with friends and family! Or maybe if we could ask the soldiers who have all lost their lives over there if they wanted to be there, i'm sure they wouldn't agree either. Soldier needs to buck it up and take the punishment!
