I was once on a plane, seated not far from a clearly disabled boy who intermittently let out loud, agonizing noises. They were the kind of noises you'd imagine were first used by Mongol invaders as they were about to lay waste on an unsuspecting Russian village...

It's not a pleasant experience, but St. Peter assures us that if you have a beef with disabled kids, you are undoubtedly an asshole. So you buck up and live with it, lest your gravestone be marked with the phrase "Here Lies a Huge Dickhead."

But 36-year-old Paul Blankfield did not consult St. Peter before throwing a fit at a Boynton Beach, Florida Olive Garden yesterday. He was trying to enjoy his all-you-can eat breadsticks and salad, but an autistic boy at the next table was making too much noise.

So Blankfield asked the boy's dad, Richard Bennett, to get the kid to shut up. Bennett told Blankfield that his son had autism. But since Blankfield isn't a tolerant man -- or even a man, for that matter -- he responded by saying, "So what?"

The two commenced arguing. One thing led to another and Blankfield went after Bennett, punching him in the neck before other diners separated them.

Bennett was not seriously hurt, since his nemesis is obviously a pussy who punches like a hairdresser. But Blankfield has been charged with battery and feloniously acting like an asshat at an Olive Garden.
