Psychic Cheryl Carroll-Lagerwey Dreams of Missing Child, But Ends Up Finding Different Body

• It happens that there is irrefutable, incontrovertible, incontestable evidence that in fact and actually some people possess an uncanny and seemingly impossible capacity to know things that are not and have never been immediately perceptible to their sense organs. They have never seen, heard, felt, smelled, tasted, nor in any way except mentally registered the reality of various events, persons, etc. The name Alex Tanous should make your skeptical world stagger a teetering tad. There are others like him, too. Believe it, there are others out there just like he was, or somewhat different. Trust me.

• I dont believe in psychics. I dont believe in ghosts. Its all just for entertainment and cheap scares/thrills. Oh and Sylvia Brown is a wack job and a huge fraud....I think she was even convicted of fraud back in the day...not psychic related fraud though. When it comes to this 'Go Medium! I can talk to the dead and see the future' crap I am a James Randi gal.

• I do believe in psycics that are real and i also believe there are alot of 'Wannabe psycics who give the REAL ones a bad name......

• Its all coincident. A nature preserve is not to far fetched a place to dump a body, its not much of a surprise they found a body there.

• I'm struggling to understand the point benzona is trying to make. "I am in the minority and I am the one who is right." Does this mean that the situation is always switched? Like the minorities are always in the wrong but you happen to be in the right?? It just boggles my mind when people type before they check it over. I highly doubt that this has anything to do with race, benzona. May the magical floating guy have mercy on you one day :)

• I am the nutty one!? I believe in science and logic. While others believe in ghosts and psychics or some magical guy floating in the sky who watches my every move. if I do not believe in everything from a 2000 year old book I will be sent to eternal damnation in a lake of fire. Who is the nutty one now? Try for a minute to set your biased opinions aside and imagine a world without supernatural nonsense and you will gain a much clearer view of reality and how this world works.

• Psychic, please, my guess would be she or someone else found the body some time before and waited for an opportunity for international exposure. There are no faeries at the bottom of the garden.

• zSceptic, James Randi is a fun-punching crotchety old gasbag who hates to see other people with opinions that vary from his own. And that one million dollar challenge? Even if someone proves that psychic powers exist, they'll never get to claim the prize money because Randi and his organization will simply cover up the evidence. That's how cranky that prick is.

• saint I am sorta like that. I think as with most things in life my taste is varied. That includes relegion and other things. Paranormal as well. BUT as we all learn new things everyday. And everyday is a day of discovery I never completley close the door to the possibilities of a true psychic.I just can't say one way are the other. Since stories such as this exsist and constantly challange what we all think we know.

• I can't outright deny such claims, or openly say I believe in them either, but IF such a thing existed...it wouldn't really be supernatural as much as it would be "a less than common occurrence in nature" "or an uncommon natural occurrence some experience due to mental sensitivities science cannot measure.". The universe is an Odd thing, and experiences like synchronicity (which jung wrote a bit on) and other phenomena have been widely recorded, yet cannot be immediately explained. I'm odd when it comes to theological notions...and my own motto is sadly "depends on what day you ask me," when asked if I believe in God.(or a Universal intelligence...or whatever the catchy trend-word of the year is now.) I think believing in something faithfully can be a blessing, or poison, depending on the one who believes, and how it personally effects them. (some become fanatics who kill in the name of their god, or gods...others attempt to inspire a sense of collective love and responsibility for the well being of their world, and are tolerant/respectful of alternative views....the latter group I deeply admire.)

• Just because something can not readily be explained that does not indicate any type of "powers" or anything supernatural. What I find surprising is the willingness of people to believe in things that are supernatural. ALL OF IT IS FALSE. There is no such things a psychics or religion for that matter, it is all completely man made. The most troubling part about this is most people believe in the supernatural. I am in the minority yet I am the one who is correct. (Apologies if I offended anyone but it is what it is).

• I can always tell when the elevator in my apartment building lobby is at the ground floor BEFORE i turn the corner and see it.

• I have to agree that there are some people who are psychic. Unfortunately, there are too many fakers polluting our ability to detect the bona fide over the bogus. If psychics could be paid for their services through a clearinghouse, interrupting the chances of defrauding families out of their money, then maybe more of them could be trusted and we could see if greater participation would net greater rescue/recovery. I am glad the missing woman has been found and her family can at least put down their futile hope. I am sorry the little girl has not been found and that her family continues to suffer the wondering if she is alive and ok, and continues to hope.

• I think that maybe she heard that the girl went missing, ran across the body at another time, and, thinking it was the missing child, tried to come up with the scam that she was psychic. But thats just my opinion.

• Do I believe it's possible? Yes. Am I psychic? No, but that doesn't mean it's not possible. I can't sing worth a flip either but there are plenty of people that can. I do believe that most of these people are just trying to swindle the gullible for money. I do, however, believe that there are some people (rare, but some) whose perception just reaches a little farther than mine. I just wonder why this lady didn't just call the cops and give a tip like all the normal people do. If it turns out that she knew something about the other woman's murder, then we can just put her on the never ending list of scam artists that call themselves "gifted."

• Psychic abilities have never been proven to exists under controlled test environments. Look up James Randi who has offered $1 million to anyone who can provide objective proof of paranormal abilities. This was probably sure luck and we will never hear from the psychic again.

• I agree with Cheryl-and how do we know maybe Kiesha's "spirit" told her where to find "a" body but not necessarily hers. Time will tell indeed.

• Not exactly sure what I feel about people who say they are Psychic. However, unless and until there is foul play proven here, this is definitely way weird and spooky. And no matter what, at least this woman was found, and now her family can say good bye.

• I totally believe some people are able to see things that others can't. Psychics have been helping police for years in murder/missing person cases. How can you not at least admit that MAYBE it's possible. There are alot of unexplained things in this universe, just b/c they can't be explained doesn't mean they don't exist.

• If there are true psychics I think they are very rare. I don't think these people running around claiming they are psychics and charging people for their "visions" are nothing more than scam artists or are delusional themselves. The fact that this lady knew where the body was could be a coincidence-I would be more impressed if the body was the little girl they were looking for.

• i don't know, but my wife says that you gotta give her some credit if she did find a body in the exact spot she said to look.
