Sean Mulcahy of Homer Glen pleaded guilty Wednesday to a felony animal-cruelty charge. Authorities say Mulcahy killed the cat and then sent his brother a photo of his dead pet along with a text message that read "This is what you did to me." A spokesman for the Will County state's attorney says Mulcahy was "enraged and intoxicated" at the time of the attack last August.

There is much much more involved than the media story portrayed and there are parties outside of sean that should be held accountable as well that will get off scott free, and that is just as much of a crime as the one that took place.
