Reader Qwerty7 responds to Video: Mark Ashford Gets His Ass Beat By Denver Police. He argues that Internal Affairs is a joke, and that cops should be held to a higher standard, not just punished when they're caught beating people on tape...

"Internal affairs" is a joke. Police choose a career that gives them authority of average citizens, so they need to be held to higher standards. They do not deserve second chances. Bad cops do indeed cost taxpayers lots of money, which is precisely why they need to be dealt with as harshly as possible.

"The only time a cop ever even comes close to facing any sort of disciplinary action is if it is captured on video, and even then they usually get away with it. Authoritarian holster sniffers should visit www.injusticeeverywhere.com every once in a while when they start to think cops deserve the benefit of the doubt.

"By the way--What's up with the S&M boots the more aggressive pig in this video is wearing?"
