Since they won't stop fooling with little kids (that would be too much like the right thing to do!), they kill them in an attempt to cover their crimes. Make a note of his name. • Annie, there's no way to prove this stuff. Those reports go unheard. You can't just call the cops and say that you heard someone talking nasty to a little boy...sure the cops my peak their heads in, but without evidence, there's nothing that they can do. I find your discrimination against anyone who's played a video game highly disturbing. Under your logic, I could easily call you a pasty fat geek for sitting on the computer long enough to type that out. But I'm not going to. Anyhow, I went to school with Tim. We were in ROTC together. He was creepy as hell on the rifle team, and he was known for attempting to date all of the other gays in the school (yes, he's a raging homosexual, so the anal rape in prison probably won't really be rape). Once he did some work for my friend's dad, and stayed over with us...in another room. I awoke to him holding a (fake...as I would later learn) pistol telling me to take my clothes off. Friend woke up, realized it was an airsoft gun, and called him out...we both started laughing, thinking it was a joke. We later learned from his...creepiness that it wasn't a joke. He had large copious amounts of child porn on his laptop, which he happily showed anyone on campus...and many people, including his own brother told the police about it. What'd they do? Absofuckinglutely nothing. That's how the cops in this area operate, for the most part. Besides, the legal ramifications of searching a laptop without a warrant/probable cause could be severe to the officer. Too much red tape on all of this. I'm happy that the boy sent pictures to Hammertwat (that's what we all called him) so he could get caught, and arrested and tried. One sacrificing their safety to preserve the safety of others. At least the boy is young and has time to forget it, and at least this was discovered before he actually hurt someone.

• @ Mark, Maybe the parents helped. Or maybe the kid just had a camera and knows how to hook it up, take a pic and send it. Some 9 year olds know a lot more about xboxes than I do and I'm 27, b/c they grew up with this technology. Its not always the parents fault that things like this happen, everybody is their own person even at 9 years old. Kid got greedy, and maybe didnt understand the harm in what he was doing. Who knows.

• Okay, just like other pervy hobbit-fanciers as this douche, he deserves what is inevitably coming to him, but what I want to know is where the heck were this 9 year old's parents? Who the heck gives their child the ways and means to take and send nude photos of themselves to strangers and then fails to supervise or monitor them? Bad parents! No biscuit!
