• I disagree, Suzanne. A lot. I think she knows exactly how she sounds, exactly how she acts, exactly everything. As she herself said, "I'm famous. Were YOU on tv?" That doesn't sound like a poor, gullible, innocent, victimized child to me. She's playing anyone who will fall for it. And you've got to admit: There are a lot of stupid people out there. She's "famous" and somebody made her that way. She couldn't have done it without them. She just wouldn't make a particularly gracious Oscar recipient. • Alexa, from what I saw of the interview, they did not. GMA painted Jessi as a victim of mean meanies attacking and cyberbullying an innocent child, they really didn't seem to touch on (to me, anyway) the fact that the whole family is a sewage dump or that, maybe, POSSIBLY, Jessi and her parents may have brought the grief down on their own heads. • Originally, when 4Chan's /b/ went after Jessie, it was in hopes that CPS and Law Enforcement would get involved. Although CPS has been known to take children away for far lesser legitimate reasons, they have chosen not to do so in this case, for whatever reason(s). However, it sounds like Law Enforcement wasn't so dismissive, and is still keeping tabs of the situation. I suspect the GMA coverage of this probably made both Law Enforcement and CPS hesitant to act. National Media Coverage can spell a PR nightmare for either agency if they aren't careful. However, unless CPS were to find a nice Amish or Quaker Foster Family in which to house Jessie, I don't think it would be enough to rescue Jessie from herself. The damage that growing up in her negative home environment has already been done. We are just seeing the aftermath. We joke to our own kids about them having to spend the money we set aside for their college tuition on all the therapy they will need, but in this particular case, that might be far more true. I'm not really sure if a lifetime in therapy could rescue this girl from herself.

• Her parents were on CNN, they are both obviously drug addicts/ex drug addicts. I was raised by wolves too, but I wasn't this bad, I actually wasn't bad at all just extremely depressed @ 11. This child's profile says that her hobby is "fucking 'til I bleed". I see her near future & it includes 3 kids, two baby daddies, & no adequate education/car/job/housing.

• Dont the "parents" know they can be held responsible for her actions as well? So i guess when they get arrested and put into jail.
