Thomas Gioeli: Judge Tells Whining Mafia Killer to Shut His Face About Prison Conditions

They may be portrayed as tough guys in the movies, but if Thomas Gioeli is any indication, the Colombo Family has gone pure candy ass. When we last left Gioeli in January, he was throwing a fit about the conditions in New York's Metropolitan Detention Center...
At the time, the rubbery diabetic was in court to whine about his lack of access to a toenail clipper, a mattress that was too hard, and the potatoes being served in the mess hall. But while "Tommy Shots" was whimpering at length about his jail food, guards also revealed that he was loading up on junk food at the commissary.
Gioeli has been in jail for two years, awaiting trial for six murders, including the slaying of off-duty cop Ralph Dols, who was ambushed outside his home in 1997. Dols' sin? He became the fourth husband of a woman who had thrice married to Colombo Family members.
Gioeli's been whining about his incarceration ever since.
Last month, he refused to take his medication because the woman dispensing it wouldn't wear latex gloves. He recently appeared before Judge Ramon Reyes to yammer about his radio and watch being stolen, in addition to problems with his neck, back and teeth. With the help of his daughter, he's even launched his own blog, TommyGioeliVoice, to take his whining viral.
But it seems Reyes has grown tired of Gioeli's non-stop bawling. At a recent hearing, he told Gioeli to "Stop bothering me!" according to the New York Daily News. "And stop bothering Judge Cogan. We have more important things to worry about."
