Daniel Woolverton, Army Lawyer, Filmed Himself Raping a Newborn Baby

"Yes Virginia. Daddy is a colostomy bag."
Woolverton was initially observed by an undercover FBI agent trading child porn on a peer-to-peer network in May and July of 2009. A subsequent 5 a.m. raid of their Arlington, Virginia home unearthed a cache of porn, and some ugly looks from Woolverton's wife. (The indignity! And lost sleep! Someone turn on the coffeemaker!)
Amidst the 30,000 images of child pornography (primarily featuring victimized infants and toddlers) and more than 1,000 videos they discovered three (that's a long, sick search) whose backgrounds suggested it was filmed in Woolverton's house. They subsequently were able to trace a watch the man was wearing while perving-out to Woolverton. (What you get for wearing jewelry to bed...)
Agents also identified a baby's bib that appeared in the video in Woolverton's house. (I don't even want to think about it.) Though officials made no disclosures, it would be logical to assume the victim was one of his own two young children. (*Collective Groan*)
Woolverton did contract litigation for the Army and served in Kuwait and Iraq. He is (was?) married to another US Army Lawyer, Deborah Woolverton. Shortly before Woolverton's arrest he was fast-tracked for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel. Ooops, so sorry, you lose.
But we do have some wonderful parting gifts -- 37 years of prison sodomy, a gag-reflex for your kids at the mention of your name, and the eternal enmity of anyone that's ever known you. You're the most heinous crud left at the bottom of the sewage cistern; soaking you in bleach still won't relieve the stink. But we can try... (Special thanks to Texas Bureau Chief Leah for the tip.)
