13 Illegals Try to Sneak Across Border Wearing U.S. Marines Uniforms

This probably isn't the first time tey pulled this. Maybe just the first time they got caught.
You guys don't get it.
This isn't an "illegal alien" story. This is a "drug cartel" story.
Put the pieces together:
(1) Fifteen people, all men.(2) Dressed in military uniforms, and GROOMED TO MILITARY STANDARDS.(3) Driving in a stolen van with forged government plates.
Add to this that Mexico's National Defense Secretariat recently admitted that thousands of Special Forces soldiers have deserted from the Army and gone over to work for several of the cartels (that is how the famed "Zetas" cartel got their start -- as military deserters who signed up to be cartel hit-men).
Dollars-to-doughnuts these guys were a group of cartel sicarios, hit-men.
I guess they didn't realize that America just ships its marines right back out of the country
This ticks me off a bit. We respect our military and their sacrifices in this country. Clever, but I'm glad they got caught....and the picture is a little funny, too.
I say put em in Boot Camp for 6 weeks, treat em like dogs, then once that's over with... ship em to Iraq, without weapons, in uniform... and leave em!!!! hahahahha
Morning My2!I'm actually very intrigued how they got pulled over. It seems like they went through a lot of trouble to get the uniforms, get the van, get the government plates - what detail did they miss that was big enough to get them pulled over rather than waved through?
If you can afford a US marine uniform why do you need to come here? There are plenty of poor people HERE who couldn't fund this type of caper...
13of them? The van? Getting to the border?blah blah, isn't that expensive for group of would be undocumented where ever their forms?
Illegals who cross the border with the help of coyotes don't get here for free! The coyotes charge them hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars each to get them here. These people save for months, and years to pay someone to cross them over, so I'm pretty sure the uniforms, all 13 of them, were well paid for.
As much as I dislike queue-jumpers, etc., and as much as I hate snakeheads, coyotes, or whatever you want to call the parasites involved in human smuggling, I did have a stray thought that if these guys are that clever maybe they deserve a pass - and, of course, a good long stretch in bootcamp as a way of saying "Welcome."We have people coming across the Pacific in rusty boats so they can come into Canada, work shit-jobs and pay taxes. I'll take these so-called illegals over the home-grown crackheads any day of the week. In fact, I've thought more than once we should just trade straight across. I wonder if that would work down in Texas or California. Can you trade the white trash meth-heads for willing workers? How would a white trash meth-head fare in Mexico, anyway? Probably about as good as as a useless, white trash Canadian crackhead in Singapore, eh.
You know... they could come over, give a couple of years to the military, I'd let them be a citizen, if you are willing to fight for a country to be part of it, then I'm good with that.
I'm not pro-miltary by any means, but I respect the guys who enlist and I definitely share your sentiment. I don't know about US history, but in Canada Chinese-Canadians, First Nations' peoples and others were still treated like shit and not allowed to vote even after their tours on the front lines in WWII. (I know Joe Louis wasn't treated so well by the US gov't after the war.) And, even though I'm not pro-military, I have to say it's gawddamn shameful that vets aren't given every consideration when needing medical treatment as a result of injuries incurred during even an unjust war. So, I wouldn't be inclined to conscript potential citizens but I'm sure kindly disposed if they're willing to work and pay taxes instead of being bums like the homegrown kind we have more than enough of already.
got to admit I'd rather have an illegal here than a crackhead, at least a majority of the time, the illegal works..
Take a gander at the LA Times link in the OC Weekly, gandertakers. That license plate mod? SO PRO. I'm so jealous by their ingenuity. TOTES looks like an 8, guys. Totes. Love that dark blue they did to accent the extreme light blue. Such genius cannot be upstaged.
that is very insulting to our service men and women for them to do some thing like that
Maybe I'm wrong...but I don't think they sell the uniforms and badges in Mexico...it's more likely someone from here bought the shit then took it over...
Yes, I'm sure it was the two US citizens driving them over the border who supplied the uniforms.
They obviously got help from someone who could get the uniforms...seems like a betrayal to the US of A to me...smuggling in illegals to make some cash and using military iniforms to do it. That's fucked up...
here, we actually have military surplus, can buy all the uniforms you want without id of any kind, and they also make name badges... unfortunately not as difficult to get as you would think.
And it is pretty fucked up
We can get uniforms and name badges here too, right at the surplus store down town, and there is also one in almost every mall around. And yes it is pretty fucked up!
I saw this somewhere else yesterday, I guess they all had the same name on their uniforms. I understood that this is how they knew something was up.
What the hell will they think of next?! I wonder how many times this scam has worked in the past?
