Kyle Smith, 17, Kills Grandparents, Invites Friends Over to Smoke Pot & Clean Up

Police immediately began looking for the couple's grandson, 17-year-old Kyle Smith, who also lived at the home. And he wasn't all that hard to find.
It seems that after murdering his grandparents, he invited two morons -- 18-year-old Dustin Martin and 17-year-old Jacob LeBlanc -- over to help him clean up. They sat around smoking pot, the dead bodies nearby, as they used their small minds to summon a plan.
Then they went to a convenience store, bought some gas, splashed it over the bodies and set them on fire.
Smith later took off in his grandparents truck. But being an asshole, he had to stop by another friend's home and brag up his double-homicide. He even showed the kid a cell phone video of his bloody triumph.
But the kid thought the video was staged and didn't believe him. Only after Smith left, and the friend saw word of the murders on the news, did he call police. Officers put out a warrant on Smith and started a search for the Garricks' truck. They also began triangulating his location by the pings his cell phone was delivering.
Smith was caught after a cop's father saw the truck. He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit arson, and two counts of conspiracy to desecrate a human body.
Martin and LeBlanc were charged with conspiracy to murder after the fact, conspiracy to commit arson, and conspiracy to desecrate a human body.
