At least the kids were taken away...If people would just keep it in their pants or wrap it up or "take care of it" before they're too far along, they wouldn't have these kids that they don't give a shit about...
sadly in most of these cases they get them back. my current foster was almost returned to his drug addict parents until they found out he had hep b and didn't want him. they hadn't seen him in over a year and were not making progress like they were supposed to and were still under investigation for ongoing abuse and neglect claims. the system doesn't work it is broken very very broken

I can't imagine seeing something like that, it is one thing to intervene on another persons (stranger at that) parenting skills. But after I saw that and saw her walk away, we would have been having a confrontation in that park.
Yup my mom confronted a woman for kicking her kid really hard in the ass and making him cry and fall when he didn't wanna play outside. My mom doesn't take shit from anyone when it comes to children and neither should anyone else. If you see someone acting aggressive towards a child and putting their hands on them it is your responsibility as a person to report it.

If she didn't want to take care of kids, why the fuck was she getting pregnant??? TWICE??? Or why was she not giving these babies up for adoption?? There is a little device called Implanon which is inserted in your arm and keeps you from getting pregnant for 3 years! Worth it's weight in gold. My 18 year old daughter has one and I don't have to worry about her getting pregnant until she is 21! It is a godsend...
And, there are IUD's, and birth control pills, and condoms, and the Depo shot. AND, when you are on welfare (I am only assuming here) it's free!
