Video: Batman Gets His Ass Kicked on the Vegas Strip

I know why he got in a fight.  Because I just got back from Las Vegas today and I would have shot batman if I had a gun.  I had an horrible encounter with this exact same man!!! He dresses as batman to get tips by letting people take their picture with him.  My husband, 3 children and I were on our way to the m & m store and we ran across "Bummble Bee" so my 6 year old son gave "Bumble Bee" a high five. Next thing we know Batman appears and pushes my son up to get his picture taken with Bumble Bee (which we really did care to get) and then all of the sudden Batman is in the photo as well. Truthfully I think Batman ruined the photo!  I was about to ask them why they dress up and if the hotels pay them, but I didn't.  As we walked away Batman started yelling " We make a living off tips, why don't you just teach your son how to steal"  We were really surprised by this!  Truthfully if they want tips they should have a sign, secondly I never wanted a picture with either of them and certainly not Batman.  Well Batman followed us for several blocks.  We would go into a store just to get away from him and he would wait outside and yell the same thing to us again as soon as we walked out of the store and just continued to follow us and yell at us.  I thought he was going to try and grab my purse and felt very threatened becuase he was crazy.  My children were afraid and he would not eave us alone! He waited outside several stores and made clear he was going to wait for us when we went in the m&m store as well, but I guess he got tired of waiting. I sure wish the city would post signs along the side walks to visitors to BEWARE of the wierdos dressed up!

 Pete, is that fair to us who are gamers? that is a slam against folks who enjoy games that are more needing of brainpower than brawn..in some of the Role Playing Games. be they some of the older versions of the MMORPGs or the older versions of RPGs. one also needs to have a good grip on math skills. how many brawn games can say that. that they need brain power to be done..it would be like some of us calling footballers, soccer players, baseball players all cave folk. since they do not need brain power.

Kind of reminds me when my wife and I went to a swingers club for Haloween one year dressed up as Batman and Catwoman. Good times!!!!!

sometimes folks get hired to work in costume. be it Batman, Star Trek, Thor, etc.........sometimes they get paid. other times it is free. sometimes it is on the streets. in a mall in front/inside a store. casinos at times. or doing it for parades. even for to help a fund raiser like Zoo Boo, or even on public TV.I've done it. gone as a Orion Slave Girl(modestly dressed of course). done it for stores, parades(got known as the pickle lady), Zoo Boo, and the local public tv. the last one. the TV dude got POed that the camera was not on him as much as he wanted. and the camera folks were more on me for some odd reason. including one sign a friend stuck under my face (Do not adjust your tv screens. She really looks like this)..I have friends who have been hired by the celebrity look alike groups. a couple of them went and worked the Star Trek Experience for a couple of times. one looks more like Riker than Frakes does now....so do NOT assume that the next person you see in a cosplay outfit is being wacko. ask them if they are doing a event of some sort. like a fundraiser. and ask them if they handmade their own outfit as well. .if they are doing a event of some sort, wish them the best. and remember if they are doing that. that it took guts to wear that in public. it takes alot of courage to do that. and the better the outfit looks. the more money they stuck into it if they made it themself..as for me, that make up took at least 4 hours to remove everytime I used it. ponds did not work as advertised.

Obviously you haven't been to Vegas or Hollywood before. These people dress up for fun to entertain people , they are the kindest people you could ever hope to run into. It's people like that tourist that take all the fun out of visiting somewhere because isn't it just fun to harass people. They guy is an obvious bully and the guy in costume didn't deserve to be attacked or mocked by some jackass. Usually this site has much better taste. Very disappointed.
