The dress codes considered formal in the evening are white tie and black tie. I am about sick and tired of men walking around with their pants sagging. It's so 2000, now it's 2011, that fashion statement is washed up. Of course the down-low bros. still dress that way.

Each time he said he would handle it-but DIDN'T. the airlines DO have dress codes for what they consider appropriate travel clothing(read the fine print on those tickets). its amazing what entitlement does-why couldn't he just do what he said he was going to do? No, instead he had to grandstand and act like an idiot(I saw the video another passenger recorded and he tries to act like he did nothing wrong even though he is sitting in his seat with his pants exactly where they were when he walked down the isle). he sounded like a douche bag anyway.
of course, I think if he wants to dress like damn fool he should be allowed to-no accounting for taste.
He was asked to pull his pants up. DId not want to do that. The airline had everyright to ask him to leave. It is nasty to see young men walk with their underware showing. In public. I see the boys walkiong to school like that. Hello where are the parents?
unfortunately alot of parents think it is ok. in fact some encourage it..family not far from me. the dad does it. so does his 4 year old and 6 year old as well for the saggy pants.
They're going to say something to this guy for his sagging pants, but yet I see muslim woman wearing their headdress, etc.. nothing is being said to them about removing them, why because it's part of their culture, maybe he should have told the airline his pants were part of his culture then they would have been too afraid to fuck with him??
I think the point of all this is no one needs to see someone acting like a hairy sweaty arse crack and then have to look at his hairy sweaty arse crack
The hijab (head covering for Muslim women) is a Sharia law mandated item of clothing to promote modesty in a woman's manner of dress. It's not only a culturally-related article of clothing, it's a religious article of clothing. Having a Muslim woman remove her hijab is like asking a Sikh to remove his turban or a Mormon to change out of his magic underwear -- doing so is an insult felt more deeply than any personal or familial disrespect.
Sagging, on the other hand, has its roots in prison culture. And while some do have religious experiences in prison, prison-chic fashion ought not be confused with ritual articles of clothing.

I think the sagging pants look is stupid but it doesn't bother me because 1. I don't wear my pants that way (neither does my man) and 2. as long as I don't see any skin it's not a problem. It's not worse than a fat chic that has on jeans so small that not only is there muffin top but ass crack out the back as well. That seems to be an epidemic because I'm seeing it more and more. This kid is a college student and was grieving over a friend. I think the airlines are just exercising their abuse of power as usual. Just the other day I read that an airline refused a ticket to a customer because she has down syndrome.
...and was flying alone, read the entire story. They didn't want to give a young teen a ticket to fly alone who has down syndrome, that I can understand. If you slant it they are assholes. If you read the entire story, its a reduction of liability. And this day in age everyone is suing everyone over everything from coffee to sagging pants.
I totally agree with you. When I see a man wearing saggy pants, I smh and go on about by day. By no means do I wanna report him. Some people just really have nuthin better to do. Cause Im sure there had to be some "fat, muffin top type bitches" on that plane too.!! That fucks up my stomach more than saggy pants, but they dont seem to be making a law about that.!!! But my boys know better than to even, let their pants sag. Way better.

I once told a cousin that dressed like this that with age, gravity effects men too. When a guy hits seventy or so, jeans sag naturally. Now, if these guys want to rush along mother nature, I have no problem ignoring them completely since saggy pants really aren't the least bit attractive. However, seeing any more than the waistband of someone's underpants is more than I ever want to see in public. Is it even sanitary? I wouldn't want to sit anywhere they had, that's for sure.
On the flip side, there is a benefit for the police. The perp either has to run slower as he holds up his pants or the pants fall down and trip him.
LOL, I agree. I'm wondering about the sanitary part also. Especially, since they seem to be wearing them lower than before. Last thing I need when I'm riding an escalator is to be facing someone's underwear because they have their pants half-way down their rear. (How do they keep them up that way? Maybe I should be glad they are wearing underwear. Did the style start because a kid was tired of answering when his mother kept asking if he had clean underwear on?) No one is fooled into thinking they need that much room for their 'jewels.' I keep thinking that Music stars that keep grabbing down there to keep checking wouldn't have to if they wore pants that fit. Their equipment would be fine. People who wear saggy pants just look deformed because it looks like their crotch is inches from their knees.
Don't even go there with women and muffin tops, tight jeans and midriff tops... Summer brings all sorts of crazy...
style started as a way in prison to let others know that they were willing to be the ewe to someone's ram..wonder what folks would do if they were asked if they were expecting to get it in the rump by them doing that.
I've seen LOTS of people sag their pants, and I can't think of one time where you could see their underwear. Usually they wear long t shirts that go down below their waist. I'm sure if you pulled their shirts up you would see it, but who cares.
I think it looks silly, but to each their own. I also don't like those shoes that look like gloves for your feet, really creep me out, or overweight women..or overweight people in general wearing spandex or any skin tight clothing.
I just look the other way and go about my business.
Reminds me of the time, some women was kicked off the plane for Sagging tits. I guess they are strict when it comes to sagging
I never heard this story if its true that is messed up for the women having to leave the plan for that
