Rock Star v. Playboy Model: Who Won?
Lauren Spierer Disappearance: Detectives Are Focusing on the Wrong People
![]() |
"The guy with Lauren "lawyered up" because of the way the Bloomington PD questioned him. He was seen on camera being hit in the face by a friend of her boyfriend, who wasn't with her at the time.
"Having been assaulted in this way, he was escorted by Lauren to his own apartment where others there put him to bed. She left that apartment building and was seen by another guy leaving (this person is not the guy who was punched in the face).
"Too much emphasis is being placed on this student altercation by the police. Having had another woman abducted just last fall (Crystal Grubb) from Bloomington turn up dead and strangled in a cornfield, you would think the police would catch on to the fact that they have bigger problems than students toughing it out on camera in apartment complexes.
"The student who has "lawyered up" is fully cooperating with the police and has submitted to searches and lie detector tests. He is known by my daughter personally and has never given her any reason to be concerned for her safety."

You should check out this remote viewing session done on Lauren at You Tube:cut and paste http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqcn1JmqHpo&feature=related

Actually, yes. That is what they should do because that is exactly where most women around here that go missing end up.

I like this post Porky very intresting briefing, and seemingly very accurate...about some of the examples you used..

Tweet me @chickjustin or e me at jdamn13 (at) yahoo.com. I thought of 3 different things we can use to connect these 2 atrocities and get justice for both girls and Jill Behrman. It is no coincidence that Crystal was found naked & Lauren's clothes are intentionally wrong in her missing person's report. Crystal's story is just killing me. She was a mother. It's all too heartbreaking for me to just let go, even though I never knew any of these girls. Really, I always felt a strange connection to Jill Behrman and after I realized what happened to Lauren, I understood why. And there's an innocent guy sitting in jail for 5 years now. Not again with this bs.

Why else would they wait 3 days to issue an alert about a missing person with a heart problem and obviously make up a tip about a lake to get her parents out of there? I know that area so well. I can't think of anyone else who could have taken her without a scream for several blocks. I bet both she and Crystal Grubb got in cop cars willingly. She was abducted between 10th & 9th, which is why they're hiding the video between there and Smallwood and planting evidence all over College. I think a cop saw her crossing 10th from the Waffle House and drove in the alley after her, which isn't on camera, I don't think, especially with the cones in front of Waffle House. Also, I think Smallwood roof cam might have the actual abduction on it. I also think he's driving down 8th or 9th between when Rosenbaum saw her & the homeless guy heard her scream.
-
And I think he killed Jill Behrman, too. I always knew her killer was still on the loose & everyone knows Myers is a patsy. It always bothered me when I lived in Bloomington & my intuition about law enforcement around there was borne out by my dealings with them. I was stalked for a year and a half. No wonder they were totally pro-stalking. They wanted to kill me & pin it on my stalker, who would've raped me, but never killed me.
-
There's so much circumstancial evidence proving a cop did this, and I know they're hiding at least 9 videos. With that picture yesterday & her shirt in it, I really think her Missing Persons Report is intentionally false so that this will have never happened. Those cops are creepy & predatory anyway and they really do have it in for women.
-
Maybe, but chances are, it is a sleazy man she already knows...
-
I'm not saying this kid did anything to her, but if I were a cop, and the last person a missing girl was seen with had an alibi like " I don't know officer, I can't remember a thing! - I'd start there too.

Innocent people will frame words in such a way, chosen in a micro second or less, which indicate their lack of connectivity with an offense. Their denials are straight forward, such as "I didn't do it" (as open statements; unprepared, and not in response to a specific question) and have a confidence to them. When a child goes missing,... innocent families will act one way; and guilty families will act another. You may ask yourself, "how would I react if my child went missing?" Innocent people move quickly. They demand help, cooperate with the police and will press police, often to the point of badgering them, to take an immediate polygraph. If the child is deceased, they still have an urgency because they want to know "who" did it; they have a need to know, and fear for others being victims until the killer is caught. However GUILTY people act differently. The avoid the police. They ask "why" rather than "who" and will, sometimes subtly, hinder the police investigation. They have a reason why they wish to hinder the police investigation. ...They distrust polygraphs and cling to lawyers. They use their own resources to protect themselves, including moving away whenever possible. Innocent victims have a tough time leaving the home or vicinity. Josh Powell left quickly. Casey Anthony was moving to California. Terri Horman moved to be with her family and stopped talking to police shortly after flunking two polygraphs. Cindy Anthony called in Texas Equasearch, but quickly refused to even allow Casey to talk to them; and eventually threw them out of her home. She had a reason not to help them search for Caylee Marie Anthony. John Walsh pestered and pestered the police. Marc Klass, although initially viewed as possible suspect, rushed to take a polygraph and pestered the police constantly....

Another missing student partying no shoes? what about the boyfriend? did they question him? i pray for good new however longer missing . Going to be a sad edning either way the parents will have goodnews or bad I hope soon. i AM PRAYING FOR GOODNEWS.

I suspect she's been abducted by a sleezy man who wants her to be his sex slave. After all, it would be so easy for a man to abduct a petite, drunk young woman wandering around without her shoes in the middle of the night. I sure hope not, but...
-
No harm TJ but I am the type who believes that there ARE NO coincidences....Someone she had contact with that night has done something with her. The odds of her having all this drama going on that night and then being snatched by another boogie man later doesn't seem plausable. Impossible? No. But highly unlikely...One of the many guys mentioned here knows SOMETHING.

I disagree with this article hi-lighting the fact police are looking in wrong direction. First you don't know what the police know as I am sure they are holding their hand tight. They may very well suspect someone. Let's say it is a student who saw her that night. The police so far have no body, nor direct witness. They have no proof but may suspect someone. As the one poster pointed out she had a heart problem was intoxicated and if ingested drug's she may have had heart failure and someone panicked. Yes I know pure speculation. Lauren was not out with close friend's that night. Even though it was 4:30am and it's unforgiveable she was not followed home if that's what happened. If you are police where would your focus be? She was walking 3 block's and if it was a fateful "snatch" lauren is one very unlucky young woman. There is a video on youtube that a group shot following her supposed footstep's at exactly 4:30AM. While one block is dark the rest of the path toward her apt is well lit with sec light's coming on. Jill Berhmann the girl who disappeared in 2000 was out in rural area road riding her bike in middle of day. She got a flat tire. Her bike was found 2 week's later & body found 3 year's later in a rural field by a father & son turkey hunting. A hilljack living in a rural trailer was later convicted in her murder 5 year's after they found the body. Evidently he came across her with flat tire offering to help and instead "snatched" her. You'd have to have a vile person just right there in Lauren's vicinity to do that. Possible? Yes but is she that unlucky? Some poster's on here are just not following this case as the poster who stated she may have just wandered off and collapsed and poster's were lynching people without proof. There were 7 day's of 400 plus people searching Bloomington 3x's a day. Rest assured if lauren just wandered off and collapsed. She would have been found by now. Police don't want to charge anyone without enough evidence to get a conviction. The DA does not want to indict someone unless DA think's they can get a conviction. I am assuming police therefore are searching for her body and continuing to investigate. Which is the correct thing to do at this point. If it was a person or more who were involved at apt Lauren was last seen and they keep their mouth's shut. If police can't find the body or more key evidence. It's possible they could unfortunately "get away with it."

Wow, so I just read about the other story of Crystal Grubbs. Very similar circumstances. If that doesn't send red flags to the police, I don't know what will. I don't blame these kids for lawyering up. As long as they are still cooperating there is nothing wrong with having somebody looking out for you. Sometimes the police will have no leads and alot of pressure to solve the case and try to force a suspect where it doesn't fit. Look at the JonBenet Ramsey murder. They were so focused on the parents, they didn't really investigate other possibilities. Letting a child raping murderer get away and having a grieving mother die with a cloud hanging over her head. I don't think this girl is still alive. We know from these stories that they rarely have a happy ending. If she is in fact dead, I hope her body is recovered soon so her family and friends can have some closure and begin the healing process. I couldn't imagine living every day not knowing what happened to her or where she is.

Agreeing with both sides here.....Getting a lawyer doesn't always mean guilt....If you watch enough shows you know how these interviews go.....The police can lie, twist and keep you in a room for hours on end..It is one thing to try and seriously help in an investigation it is another thing to be grilled and the cops have ulterior motives..You can end those hours sooner by saying..."I want to talk to my lawyer...." Bam its over...More people should learn this...Especially those broken down into false confessions...
-
Wouldn't be a bad idea ;) I would still get a lawyer though. By the end of it people will get slandered, names will be out and pitchforks a coming.
-
Hell, as innocent as I am I would lawyer up if cops starting poking and questioning me over a missing person. I' m not about to let them play with words and twist mine and give my words alternate meanings. What I say is exactly what I mean. If they don't understand, they need to pull out a dictionary and a thesaurus.
-
your right sounds like they already think she's dead...heres to hoping she's not (raises coffee mug) i don't blame them/him for lawyering up, with the way prosectors can railroad people its safer for him and i can't blame him for that

The people the police are focussing on may not have had anything to do with Lauren's disappearance, but they are the last link they have to her and her whereabouts at the moment. What else is the police supposed to do, start randomly searching all the cornfields in the area?
