• I would investigate the father first. The eldest was shot twice in the back of the head. Did she come running in the room after hearing the gun shots? These sort's of crimes are usually done by men as they cannot provide for there family. I am looking at the full picture from all angles and only he would profit from there deaths.

• You need to STFU and get off TCR.  This woman is pure evil and that's why she did this.  Satan had control of her.   Medications do not cause that.  In fact studies show they have never caused homicide and are prefectly safe.  People should take them when experiencing financial difficulties b/c it can help them work more.  Obviously the husband was taking them and benefiting from them.  The risk of suicide goes down most dramatically when people get treatment and comply with it. It is a responsibility of all practicing psychopharmacologists to do whatever they can to reinforce this message. We are the ones with the experience with these medications. We have seen the successes, and we have seen the failures. We need to make absolutely clear that the former grossly outnumber the latter, as that way is much better for marketing purposes which enhance the proliferations of more people being prescribed. • This is very similar to the story of John Wood in Maryland.  He was an accountant for CSX and owned several expensive houses, one in Maryland and one or more in FL.  When the housing market crashed, he was prescribed several antidepressants and killed his whole family and then himself.  He took personal responsibility for his problems that were actually created by the banks, the govt. and hundreds of thousands of unethical realtors and loan officers.  If someone would have just sat these people down and said "You didn't cause this.  You are actually a victim like many others."  The best thing to do is to get an apartment and then walk away from your mortgages."  They would all still be alive today.  When people are super-stressed, it's hard to see your situation objectively.  Popping a pill is not going to pay a mortgage.  His doctor should go to jail for mal-practice.

• Vanessa, I believe you did miss just one very valid point I can see that Kuei made. In his last few sentences, he states that the families cannot function properly without the proper guidance from women because men have been traditionally crass, spitting, swearing, cursing and killing and raping the children, and they all are permanently retarded so they were the first ones to be tricked into working outside the home.  So basically he is saying that all men are born tools and are lost causes but women have the capacity to be rehabilitated. LOL. No wonder he hates everyone, he hates himself worst of all.

• LOL, You're just not going to get through to Kuei or Fiola and some other re the whole woman thing.  They have intense baggage and impairment in their issues with their mothers for whatever reasons.  These ideas are too ingrained in them to be removed with anything less than therapy.   They will never stop  looking for examples to support their delusions.   Something went very wrong in their relationships with their mothers. Here is an example of their type of thinking: My husband rented our basement to a co-worker who lived far away so he could stay there on the nights he worked.   He was married to a woman 11 years older than him  and was born in Columbia and moved here and became a citizen in the 80's.   In Columbia, his father died when he was young during military service.  His father was an abusive alcoholic but not around very much (especially after his death.)   His mother was  domineering money - grubber and was much closer to the girls in his family than the boys.  He still gets insulted by her even though he is almost 50. A few weeks after he moved in, he said to me "I called you on Sat. but no one answered.  I was going to ask you to wash my sheets and blanket."   He actually said this to me, like we had agreed to a bed and breakfast type deal for $20/night.    I though to myself   "Thanks for warning me, I won't answer the phone on the week-ends anymore." Then he proceeded to just walk up into the living room every day at dinner time so my daughter and I would have to have dinner with him.  Finally I told him he would have to make his own dinner.  He reported this to my husband.  He has neck problems and back pain and his mother told him to boil something for it and he said he didn't have time.  He said "If I was back in Columbia married to a Columbian woman, she would be boiling this stuff for me all day." He doesn't understand why his sister doesn't want to get re-married.  I'm thinking maybe she doesn't want to give up a perfectly happy life and replace it with round the clock boiling of stuff and other slave labor.    Don't waste your time trying to convince them of the worth of women.  It's never going to work.

• It can be hard to understand why a parent would do this, but too many times it is done under the guise of love.  My mother is mentally ill after the years of sexual abuse by her father and physical abuse by her husband. We lived on an island in the West Indies. When I was 2 years old, she had finally had enough and couldn't take it another day. She went to the beach to kill herself. She buried my 6 month old brother in the sand, she buried me and then she buried herself.  I wiggled my way out of the sand and ran to the closest house and got help. Now, 27 years later my mother, brother and I are all alive and living our own lives. My mother was going to kill herself but she couldn't stand the thought of leaving us behind without her protection. After her years of hell and abuse, she wanted us to be with her forever where no one could hurt us. This is a big reason we see a lot of murder suicide with parents/children.

• Tim, to me, after going through the aftermath of suicide, I think just suicide alone is selfish as well.  And to be honest, if my daughter and I had been around, I truly think we would have been killed.  When that thought first crossed my mind years ago, it made me shudder.  I don't think my husband was a terrible person, even if he had chosen to take everyone with him.  I think that he just had a twisted perspective on things.  Because of that, I don't think he was sane enough at the time to think "hmm, I'm at least sparing my child and wife."  If he were thinking clearly, he would have known that any survivors of suicide deal with the trauma for the rest of their lives.

• A friend of mine Duceliz Diaz and her daughter Kayla Diaz were found dead and the people first said it was a murder-suicide.A year later they arrested Albert Perez her ex boy friend he strangled both of them and staged it to look like she had lilled her daughter then herself. Don't be quick to judge the mother til all the evidence is processed you could make a huge mistake a say horrible things about someone and then a few months later find out it wasen't her.

• Yes, but Jenn, while suicide in itself is so incredibly sad, to take out others with you is such an act of selfishness, of being such a narcisstic person, you can't percieve others going on with out you. You husband, as sad as his decision was, as much pain as it caused you, did not reveal a dark part of him that would make him think it was right to take you and or others with him.  He retained that part of what was good about him even at his darkest time. This woman didn't.  She focused on herself so much that her kids became props she used to underline her own grief.  She deserves not an ounce of pity.  I would only pray there is a hell  she can go to, and pray even harder there is a heaven for those little kids.

• She killed all three of those kids and then offed herself.  The final seconds or minutes of their lives must have been horrible...that is assuming she killed them all without hesitation.  I don't understand how life was so bad that she had to take her kids with her.  Disgusting PIG.

• I swear there are times that I think if we as a society to revive, to bring back to life on a limited amount of people, it would not be for a small group of victims, but would be to bring back the killers. That she gets to punch out after such an insane act makes me want to see her brought to life again.  Her kids, I hope and pray are actually in that better place. • If it truly was a homocide/suicide situation, there may not have been more to the story.  When my husband passed, there was nothing exciting going on.  Just regular life, we're broke, gotta finish college to get a good job, daughter is growing up too fast.  From the outside looking in, and the inside looking out, it was nothing more than what any other family was dealing with.  We weren't on drugs, we didn't have any debt.  The problem was that my husband didn't feel that way.  He felt the whole world was crashing in on him.  He didn't percieve the problems as regular every day things.  If this woman did commit suicide, she could be the same.

• "Police are operating on the theory that Nadia murdered all three of her children, then turned the gun on herself. The gun was found at her side." This does not mean the murders were carried out by the mother, it means police have no evidence and/or are just not giving the public any information that they do have.  This is a tactic used to give more time to investigate and not impose panic. IF this is the case, I agree, she should have shot herself first...
