Charles O'Bryan Tries to Kill His Wife By Ramming Truck Into Waffle House

She's a waitress at a Panama City Waffle House. But when Charles called to talk with her at work, Danielle refused to get on the phone.
You could say this displeased her loving husband. Before getting off the phone, he told a coworker that he was going "to run his truck through the building and kill everyone." Which is exactly what he did. Or at least attempted to do.
A few minutes later, Charles and his 1987 pickup came crashing through the building. He was aiming for Danielle, and though he hit her, he failed in his ultimate quest of killing her. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and no one else was hurt.
After discovering that ramming a truck into a building was an imprecise form of murder, Charles emerged from the pickup with a knife, intent on finishing what he started.
But a witness at the scene grabbed a broken piece of metal created by the crash. Even with his knife, Charles was no match for the Good Samaritan, who kept him subdued until police arrived.
He's now charged with attempted murder, felony mischief, and totally sucking at marriage.
