Morning reading from the Village Voice Empire: As a cross-country train rolled through Montana, Hussein Hassan got drunk and bothered passengers so badly he was thrown off and arrested. Hassan told a cop that no one on the train would survive, saying there was something "very dangerous" in his bag. When the cop asked if he was lying, Hassan said, "I am Muslim, I cannot lie." Well, he was lying, but he was honest when he revealed his plan to the cop: "We can sell our story to CNN for a large amount. I'll be famous for a while." City Pages has the story.
