There is plenty of legal things you could do to "get famous" ...I know I know you were trying to be your best Jesse James and wound up being Snooki instead.

He was a wash-out at the Suicide Bomber school he went to in Somalia. He kept loading his backpack with laundry instead of Explosives.
Plus he was in Montana. How could the cops not profile him? There were only 3 other people of color in the whole state at the time. Of course two of them were fly-fishing and the other runs a Mexican bristo.
It probably seemed like a really good idea at the time, to get his bag back to him PRONTO. He certainly has that post-drunken-stupor-realization-at-what-you've-done-oh-shit look on his face.
