this is true, but in movies like superman (of all things, a highly respected movie about the world's greatest hero), they show him as a child naked. it all depends on the content I suppose. But filming people showering is inappropriate AT ALL, especially without them knowing, and ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY with them also being underage. as for nude beaches, well I'm sure there's some that do. But in any case, what this guy did is still sick, is my point.
dont overreact thats not child pornography not even close, minors instead but not child...I mean he deserves a punishment for sure but not dead penalty cmon.
the professionals who make a honest legal living have the decency most of the time to either blur the privates or "black box" them. . as for nude beaches. the one I saw on my cruise. they do NOT allow any photography of any sort there. even on cell phones.
Possession of video of nude underage girls showering is NOT like filming your child's bubble bath mo-hawk. Unlike the hypothetical bubble bath antics, this video of the girls is A) taken without their knowledge or consent, B) he was NOT a family member making cherished family memories, therefore is being made specifically for his sexual gratification, and C) cause for fear and future worry for the subjects and their families, not to mention the whole church, which might have more victims than they know yet. Even if the subjects are legally of age NOW, they will ALWAYS be underage on that video... the magic of technology. And speaking of the magic of technology, if he has uploaded that video, any number of perverts and pedophiles will have already downloaded and saved it, so there is possibly no end to the future humiliation these girls might be subjected to.
If videotaping naked children was child pornography, then the makers of many a documentary including the movie Babies, would be in huge trouble. Including anyone filming their family at a nude beach or something. Child pornography has strict guidelines about what makes it porn, or close to it. But that makes this none the less creepy, that guy is sick, he should be locked up for a while, and his wife I'm hoping will dump him.

It irritates me to no end, that crimes like these have a statute of limitations on them. He probably researched what that limitation was, before he confessed to his girl friend, knowing that nothing would happen to him. I bet if they keep digging, they will find more recent crimes against him. This wasn't a one time thing, I'm sure. Fucking pervert!
Charges withdrawn because it was over 3 years? Aren't naked 17 and 15 y/os considered child pornography? Note: never, ever, ever tell the woman you're going to marry you secretly taped her and her friends showering naked before you dated.
