Coffee break reading from the Village Voice Empire: Photographing puking women can be hazardous to your health. One woman started snapping pictures of young drunk women who were puking on the sidewalk near her home. The lovely lasses' dates decided to take offense. SF Weekly has the full story.

I'm glad she hung on to that camera...and what kind ball-less fucks beat up a woman...seriously, if you can't handle your liquor and get sloppy, disgusting drunk, you shouldn't be leaving your house to drink. Stay home and vomit in your own toilet, on your own floor or in your own bed instead of on people's stoops...nasty asses...
People are disgusting, I certainly see her point, but it won't change anything. Maybe they need to put puke cans outside bars. Obviously these drunk losers can't make it to the bar bathroom.
When did Denis Leary become a Police Captain and add the O' back to his last name?.........Sorry This is a really messed up situation she should have used a hidden camera.I totally get why she did what she did and I feel so bad for her.But you should never put yourself in harms way.And No that wasn't blaming her just a fact.And Yes let's honor to losers barfing outside all over the place by adding to the fact that they also hang out with"thieves who like to rob and beat old ladies" How about Honoring the lady who wanted her rights back by not having her property ruined and her peace of mind back so she could sleep at night.
Are you sure she just wasn't snapping photos for her apartment walls? I'm sorry but it's the whole -- play with fire -- it was a foolish risk to approach drunken assholes.
Living near a bar is just plain stupid. I used to live near one and it sucked. I don't think these guys should have put their hands on this woman but what did she think was going to happen? She strolls out late taking pics of drunk and unruly people. She's lucky she didn't get gang raped in an ally.
Sometimes you can't really pick where you live, especially in SF. Maybe she was there before the bar was. At any rate, the girls who were puking on the street didn't deserve any privacy. If you puke on the street you deserve your pictures put up on Facebook or Twitter or the National Enquirer or anywhere else.
Well, if you're puking on the street because of alcohol you do - i have on ocassion been so ill i couldn't make it home from the doctor or work without upchucking in between. The alcohol abusers are easy to spot though - disheveled clothing, make-up smudged and hanging off of one ear, stumbling along on one high heeled strappy shoe and one bare foot with the shoe still strapped to the ankle dragging along, too drunk to notice their handbag is bearing the brunt of the vomit stream.
Looks like this lady was trying to build a case against the bar, by showing what she deals with by living so close. Now she just has more ammo against them. Oh, and....gross!
