The TV weatherman's job is one of synthetic cheeriness, playing the friendly neighbor who makes half-baked predictions on rain and snow under the thin guise of science. But when he wasn't being plastic, meteorologist Brett Cummins liked to party...

The next morning, a friend found Cummins sleeping in a bathtub next to Dexter Williams, who was dead and naked save for a dog collar
Cummins worked for KARK, an NBC affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas. On Sunday, Christopher Barbour invited him over to this home in Maumelle. Cummins arrived with his 24-year-old friend Dexter Williams. The trio spent the evening in the hot tub drinking and snorting "illicit narcotics." Barbour claims he didn't exactly know what he was wolfing.

But he says he went to sleep on the couch at 11 p.m., leaving his two friends in the tub. And it seems they engaged in some serious weirdness during his slumber.

When Barbour woke up at 8 the next morning, he found his pals sleeping in the bathtub. He began cleaning up and woke Cummins up.

That's when they noticed that Williams wasn't looking so good. He'd begun to turn purple, and he was curled up in a fetal position, wearing only a dog collar around his neck. There was no water in the bathtub, but there was blood.

Cummins screamed and then threw up on the living room carpet. He fled to scene before apparently deciding that wouldn't look so good to the cops. So he returned and the two men called 911.

The Maumelle PD is investigating while awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports. Thus far, neither Cummins or Barbour has been arrested.
