Terminally Ill, Alleged Wife Killer
When I was pregnant, my grandmother gave me great advice. She said if my baby's crying was getting on my nerves, I need to put some distance between myself and the baby. Get on the other side of the house, close some doors in between, have a cup of tea and calm down. Think about how much I love my baby and how I am looking forward to seeing him grow.
It only happened once, and lasted about 20 minutes. He's 24yo now and doesn't remember the 20 minutes he cried without me when he was 6 weeks old. I give the same advice all the time. I hope it has helped.
I used a kitchen timer.... after 20 min if he was still crying I'd pick him up.... never made it past the ding of the bell...
