To his neighbors, Steve Kinzey and his girlfriend were just two more yuppies living in an upscale East Highlands Ranch neighborhood. He'd spent the last 10 years as a professor of kinesiology at California State-San Bernardino writing on such issues as child obesity...

And while he'd occasionally have his motorcycle riding friends over to the house, it wasn't unusual for yuppies to have expensive, motorized hobbies.

What they didn't know is that Kinzey was also president of the Devil's Disciples motorcycle club, or that the club's business was peddling meth. Kinzey had been one of the subjects of a 6-month investigation into dope and weapons trafficking. And when the cops raided his house, they found items not usually associated with a mild-mannered professor.

Detectives seized a pound of meth, rifles, handguns, body armor, and biker vests. Kinzey wasn't home, but they arrested his 33-year-old girlfriend, Holly Robinson. Shortly after the raid, the cops arrested six others supposedly involved in the trafficking, including Jeremy Disney, thought to be Kinzey's meth supplier.

But so far, police have been unable to find Kinzey himself. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
